Psa Krinkov? Edit: see post 117

They hear you, but like all companies they cant drip everything they doing just to make what a few people want. Yes, it will be popular. But the majority of PSA customers want an affordable AR, AK, and dagger.

I definitely agree with you, the krink is a niche product with a small cult following. I just cant wrap my mind around why psa would bring the gun to shot show 2 years in a row with no concreate plan for release other then to generate hype.

I have to be honest here, they already build a 105 (which I own and love) seems to me it would not be too difficult to install a shorter barrel on that and you have a Krink.

SHOT is a product showcase, not a “we are going to make this”. I’m still waiting on a LaRue Siete (9 years now).

More complicated than that…

Really? How so?

Differences in the gas system also, mainly around the front site block.

Simple to do, it’s a 74 ninety degree gas block, nothing special. Shorter piston arm, the rest is the same.
It’s an AK, by its very nature it’s simple.

Simple to do…yet requires stopping production, retooling for the changes, making the parts, then stopping production, retooling back, etc…

What re-tooling exactly?
The only major difference is the barrel, length and twist rate. That and the hand guard furniture/gas tube furniture.
I have most of the parts to put together a Krink and there are many clones out there. Until recently the stumbling block was the barrels but those are available now.
The major parts are AK 74 which PSA already produces.

Barrel, length, and twist rate require new tooling. The front sight post, with its differences, will require manufacturing changes. PSA and its sister companies make hundreds of thousands of parts each year. That size manufacturing requires as few changes to the process as possible. Even just changing barrel lengths puts a pause on their line. I know you want it, and many others do also. But PSA is going to streamline their manufacturing as best they can. If they didn’t we wouldn’t ever seen anything new. Now just be patient and know that they will make it as soon as they can. Then they will torture test it, and only after it has passed all that, dotted every i and crossed every t will it be made and sold.

PSA doesn’t make barrels, those are outsourced.
The gas block is the same as a 74 which they already build.
I’m not in the market for a Krink as I will build one from my parts but your given reasons for the delay are just nonsense in terms of manufacturing.

Outsourced???:rofl::rofl::rofl: Who told you that?

PSA gets their barrels from a JJE Capital sister company, D.C. Machine. I’ve seen how they make barrels at their facility. Furthermore, PSA is not only an assembler, but also a manufacturer. It seems you dont understand the way this works. Finally, if you are going to assemble your own krink, what are you doing here other than trying to stire things up?

Sister company is outsourced!!!
It seems YOU don’t know how that works.
I’m not trying to “stir things up” as your silly jab at me suggests, I was giving factual information regarding AK construction.
Clearly your understanding of the AK platform is severely lacking.
Bye. :man_facepalming:

Doesn’t seem to be very effective testing.

Thought you said bye?? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Btw, your definition of outsourced is wrong. From dictionary.com:

obtain (goods or a service) from an outside or foreign supplier, especially in place of an internal source.

" outsourcing components from other countries"

D.C is not an outside or foreign supplier. They are under the same company umbrella. Furthermore, this is from Jamin himself:

"JJE and it’s machine shops/stamping houses/ forging houses etc are one of the largest makers of gun parts in the world. We supply the JJE brands Leadstar/PSA/AAC/H&R etc as well as many of the major brands in the industry. Our over 1700 manufacturing employees make over 1 million BCG per year and over 1 million barrels per year.

We also make automotive parts, industrial tool, industrial gearing and other non firearms parts.

In addition to making industrial and firearms parts, we make ammunition from rolls of brass, rolls of copper and ingots of lead etc."

Finally, for every 1 negative youtube video, yiu can find exponentially more positive experiences. Gun reviewing on Youtube is about 1 thing: clicks. Why? Because clicks generates money.

Doesn’t work like that.

What doesn’t?

Enough. The timeline is post 117.
