I got my 105 last month. No problems with it at all. It’s well built and functions just fine.
Waiting on my Form 1 so it can wear a real folding stock.

Yall have piqued my interest. What makes a krink so desirable?

No. (Yes, absolutely). They are horribly impractical. (And a must-have) 9-Hole Reviews and Forgotten Weapons both have some awesome videos on them for both use and origin/development. And for me, many memories from the vidja gamez

They filled essentially the same role as the M1 Carbine in Dubya-Dubya Tee-Woo; but with the “standard” Soviet cartridge.
Initially Easy to build, seemingly Hard to Duplicate now: the Afghanis apparently loved them (enough their name for them stuck).

At the top of the thread in the links section, there’s a link titled: “What is a Krinkov?: A Guide to the AKS-74U - Pew Pew Tactical”. I thought it was very informative and gave a good historical background. I’m not an AK guy (right now), but I do think most of them want one - although they probably get the more practical guns first (WAG)!

That’s a bummer because we are facing a potential “AWB” here this year. Was hoping to sneak one in ahead of the BS
shot show one of the reps mentioned they were releasing it alongside the AK-556 and the spiker clone. I’m guessing due to the recent events PSA had to change strategy or they couldn’t get parts on time for a release this year. I’d ask @Josiah_PSA what’s going on?
Where are you located that they are considering that?

Oregon. IP 17 and IP 18 need 100k signatures to make the Fall ballot. Finding 100k anti-gunners in uber liberal Portland is like finding 100 high school boys who want a free table dance. Washington to the North of us just collapsed and California to the South fell years ago. The Oregon salient will be pinched off and encircled shortly.

Does anyone have any updates on the krink release or confirmation if its not coming out this year? I tried reaching out to @Josiah_PSA but I haven’t gotten a response yet.
When its close it will be on the website. If they arnt answering you that means its not ready yet.

PSA’s main customer base is folks that want a reliable AR15 for a decent price. While there are certainly folks waiting for the 556 AK, keep in mind that PSA does ThOUSANDS of orders for AR’s and parts every day. They will have it out once it goes through all their torture testing and the supply chain allows them to get the necessary materials to make it.

You guys really need to just start stacking bodies out there. That or you need to all just move to purple/red states. Believe me, I know it’s easier said than done. I’m in the long process of trying to relocate my business and my family out of my cockroach infested purple state.

I guess I’m not going to hold my breath anymore for a 2022 release, after reading jman’s post on ARFCOM that the krink was on the bottom of psa’s bucket list for the year. I’m guessing that the late Q3 production start was a hopeful estimate after completing their other project’s. psa really could of filled a void with this one, your only options for a aks-74u are $5k tula kit’s or a $3/4k 104ur’s on GB. They’re are daily comments on their Instagram asking for the krink that psa actively ignores its like they know there’s a high demand they just choose not to listen.
