Psa Krinkov? Edit: see post 117

No, the 74’s and 105’s have NOT been pushed back!

Thanks for the update. Very disappointing, they just like announcing products not actually producing them haha. Appreciate the info.
My guess is that it will be the RPK or PSL they are going to “focus on” but the krink is the one thing that isn’t being made or imported right now and has the most pent up demand. Oh well, patience is a virtue.

So are you waiting on the 105 to drop or an actual 545 short Krink with wood furniture?

This bad boy from SHOT show few years ago. A lot of us will probably SBR it and put a proper stock on it.

Agreed!! I’m hearing Q4 2022 for release of the krink

Maybe they’ll throw us a bone and simultaneously release a version with an FN CHF CL barrel!
Then I PROMISE I won’t ask for anything else until next time!

Here’s an article for your reading pleasure on how the Krink came about. It’s probably funner than a barrel of monkeys, but I’m not convinced about wanting one yet  :
What is a Krinkov?: A Guide to the AKS-74U - Pew Pew Tactical

@Josiah_PSA any ideas when AK105’s will actually be in stock? I’ve decided I’m gonna get one until the Krink comes out.

It will probably be a while. Lots of issues and bad press/reviews online circulating about the PSA AK105. TBH I think PSA removed them from the website so they can fix the issues. Same for the 74 line (again). One video in particular on YouTube shows some VERY horrible lateral/side to side motion on the Toolcraft carrier, while inside the receiver. This is pretty unacceptable in my opinion and gun like that should have never made it out of PSAs doors.

Im always a little skeptical of youtube reviews. I prefer to have my own hands on experience.

@GuitarGuy wanna put me on the buy list for the 105?. I’ll take the risk. Been trying to grab one for 2 weeks with no success

@crediblecurts i dont work for PSA. Just a volunteer mod.

Hey, this is the kind of beta testing I can get into. I’ll have a field day working out “krink kinks”. Hmm, sounds like a very niche photographic hobby…

Sounds krinky.

I get that. I get not believing in a moon landing unless I personally walk on the moon (a joke obviously but you get my point, you can’t prove everything firsthand, sometimes you have to take peoples word). PSA has removed the 74s AGAIN and the 105s from the website. They haven’t been for sale in close to a month. They are not being honest. They are not being transparent. They need to put out a statement on the 105s and address the issues these guns are having. When they remove items that were for sale, they need to say why, and not stay quiet about it. They also need to stop silencing the folks on the FB groups that are asking the hard questions about these guns and the QC issues they’re still having years and years later. I mean, I’m glad Chad has a good working gun, but what about the rest of us that don’t have a platform?

Im not on FB so i cant speak to that. As for guns coming/going from the website…that happens often. Each iteration has its own SKU, and based on parts availability some might not be available or be discontinued. Unfortunately the issues in the world are having a huge impact on supply, steel, aluminum, etc.

Are the AK-105 bcg different? I mean like design-wise speaking. I thought they used them same bcgs. Seem like a bad batch rather than something being off with the design.

Carriers seem to be out of spec. Check out the 2 min video I shared above.

Don’t think we haven’t forgotten about that sweet, sweet Krink!
