I’d been looking for a hobby and decided to get a shooting range annual pass. It seemed like a good deal, and I was excited to try out the variety of rental guns which are included with the membership. When I began browsing the offerings it was a bit overwhelming, so I asked for a list of the rental guns so I could read about them & decide which to try. When they replied with “Sorry, but we don’t have a list of them.” I was a bit surprised and asked “why not?” Isn’t promoting their guns the point of offering rentals?
Hopefully, someone on staff will see this post and print up a list of the rentals. I mean, each gun we try is a box of ammo sold, and perhaps and a new gun sold too. 
Not all guns are available every day. Some are down for maintenance. I imagine they don’t publish the list for this reason. MB has multiple full auto stuff that is fun.

they coulda also just not thought about having a list.
also they rotate the guns out from time to time for reasons like what GuitarGuy said… .and also to take them to other stores so other areas can have access to them too…
I realize that some of the guns wouldn’t always be available, since they’re out on the shooting range or being serviced. But still, a list would give us a way of knowing what is normally available and we would be able to ask about the ones we’re interested in. Without a list we’re surely missing the opportunity to make full use of what PSA has to offer. A list would also save the staff a lot of time repeating themselves about what’s on hand. They could even integrate their rental list onto their sales site, so we’d know which models we can “try before you buy”.
The Greenville store has them openly visible to pick whichever one you want.
Columbia does too but not sure they are all out at once. The MB range isn’t completely done yet which may be the hold up there.

I agree that a list could be useful; as long as they don’t have to update the list too often.
Potential buyers should have the ability to try each of PSA’s own brand pistols without waiting for The Gathering to roll around. Honestly, it was demoing the Micro Dagger that sold me on it over the G43X. Even though the price point is lower, it mattered to me how it felt in my hands and how naturally I shot it. I’m sure I’m not the only buyer who thinks that way.

Smaller ranges near me that have rentals have them posted on their not that smooth of a website. If I was new to the gun world and wanted to look at some of this stuff beforehand online, I would want to know what was to rent as well. Your normal guns, Glocks, S&Ws, Sigs etc… they are usually always available and not being shipped from store to store. Your exotic stuff could be listed as well with a caveat saying that they cycle through different stores or something.
A rental gun list is not a big thing to ask for since it rarely changes. If a gun is not currently being rented at the time, I wouldn’t even mention it on the site. That is something a person would find out when they get there, knowing that it is always a possibility.

now this i agree with whole heartedly. the oddest thing is that 9 times out of 10 psa does not have a psa gun on the range to test other than their AR’s usually.
or at least columbia doesnt when i was there last.

How hard would it be to have a list of everything you have or even might have but simply state at the bottom of the list, “Firearms listed are subject to availability or may not always be available”. I thought the OP had a great idea. You see the list, research what you “think” you may want but, in your research, discover something that turns you off, so you don’t rent that weapon. Jeez, this ain’t rocket science., it’s just a list.
