Hello….bought a psa px9 stripped lower, noticed ejector was loose. no biggie, but anyone know the torque specs? online says 20-25 in lbs. can anyone confirm this. before i loctite and torque it down……
Call customer service?
I’ve learned in the past customer service really doesn’t answer too much sometimes.
I’ve had them ask the ENG group while I was on the phone.
yeah im not sure, they dont really publish their torque numbers at all sadly. it would be nice if they would but can you imagine the size of that database these days lol
@sean.psa might can find out for you.
I looked last night on the interweb and the information is all over the place from 15 in lbs to 40 in lbs….. the general consensus seems to be between 20 and 25 in lbs…..
Go hand tight plus just a little more?
I don’t have my charts any more for standards based on diameter and thread pitch.
Using a 3/4” Breaker-bar, torque unit until it squeaks in high-“E”, then back off precisely 1/5-turn. No more, no less.
PSA barrel nut tight: “Tight as you can get it and then a quarter turn past that.”
Going to sleep tune.
