Question about new Oregon law

If you buy a gun off the PSA site and it gets to the ffl, but the wait now (from what I hear) is 30 days because of the backlog in background checks, what does that mean for the gun? It would be too late under the new oregon law I think by then to pick up but would you be able to return it? I know once you buy something all sales are final and we are supposed to know the local laws etc. But this would be an unusual circumstance. Hopefully one of the admins can chime in thanks.

You can always refuse a firearm that would then get sent back. Until it is transferred to you it is not actually your firearm (i.e. in your name).

@SuperPredator is our local FFL on here so he may be able to explain that better than i did

Interesting I wonder if that would piss PSA off I dont want to be on bad terms lol

I doubt it. They are prioritizing OR orders right now.

I’m 100% confident, that if this issue would play out, or something similar with any Oregon PSA buying residents, that PSA will absolutely work with the person and get something figured out.
