Right to Bear insurance Rocks!

I had a covrrage question reguarding my policy.

Background:
I and a retired corrections officer are working up a trauma bag and Security protocol for our church. In a discussion with a buddy reguarding how he set up his security team for his church he stated his policy throug a seperate insurace provider for CWP did not cover him for use of force in response to active shooter, on his church security team. His church had to get a separate liability policy for the security volunteers.

Right to Bear informed me I am covered under my policy doing church security. One more reason I am very happy to be a policy holder with Right to Bear insurance.

If you are doing something similar, I strongly encourage you to reach out to your CWP insurance provider and see if you are covered.

THANK YOU to Right to Bear!

My congregation doesnt have a “security team” solely because of insurance wording. We do have an approved list of folks who carry, which is signed off on by the pastor (state law says church leader or governing council). They are a part of the “safety committee” which meets regularly.

maybe one day i’d like to be active in a church enough to sign on to a safety committee at my church. I dont know if my pastor would approve though… he’s kinda uber conservative… and may have issue…
