My hope that it will eventually be available in .45 (and maybe 10mm) like the Kimber DS Warrior. A DS .45has been on my wish list for a very long time. I think Kimber has thrown down the gauntlet

Sources involved with PSA have already stated this will probably land in the $1,800-$2,000 ballpark. I’m not sure how anyone thinks you can manufacture a custom built 2011 with no mim parts for $1,300 like some of you want haha. Personally I think the $1,600ish mark would be great. But there really isn’t anything comparable around $1,800 either as far as I know.
knowing PSA, id be surprised if it was that much. even being a sabre, id be surprised if it was over 1600.
The direct quote regarding the un-ported version was “We’re shooting for 2k” So it seems like even $1,800 could be a bit optimistic. We’re talking hand fit (not production line) 2011’s from the sound of it. So at the end of the day, how many of those do you see around for under $3,000.
true about hand fit.. but that is so far apart from PSA’s standard of build, id be really surprised.. especially how they did try that route with their first iteration of 1911s back in the day and it didnt lat long.. it was too expensive, and they only really had a few that could do it and it didnt work out from what i saw… thats why they partnered with Rock Island i bet for the Admiral series of 1911s… we’ll see what they charge for the 2011s, im interested in that for sure.. hell i’ll probably end up with at least one..
