Hey folks,
I saw this link for the new Sabre S5 9 Position buffer tube posted a few days ago and I’ve got some questions. The product comes with a Sprinco Green rifle spring but it has a “Carbine Buffer Assembly”.
My main question is “Does this buffer/system emulate the VLTOR A5 system and if so wouldn’t it require the extended A5 buffers and not the carbine buffer?”
Additionally if it doesn’t copy the A5 system then “how is it different?”
How did no one answer this?! BUMP!!!
I also wish to know.
BCM has their MK2 offering, and it runs about 105-125 depending on weight.
Surely we can get an A5 on all the newer Sabre-15s and Saber-308s.
It just makes more sense to run them.
Sprinco Green, A5 buffer, A5 9-position Tube, A5 length castle nut (hopefully).
And for the .308 rifles like the M110A1 they have now, just run Sprinco Green, A5 Tube, AR15 Carbine H2 or H3 buffer, and the A5 Castle Nut.
Should be a home run for PSA. Directly compete with Sons of Liberty Gunworks, becuase I dont know anyone other than Bravo Company and SOLGW who offer the A5. Its superior to the carbine buffer system.
