These are nice to use for storage and you can find them for for just a few bucks.
I keep one specifically for AR parts.
I too use fishing takleboxes to store my spare parts for my ARās and 1911ās and Glockās parts. i have about 3 or 4 now for the AR alone, and they are the biggest ones like Jammo has posted. iāve had enough spare parts in them to build at least 5 lowers, this keeps me full up on spare parts, and when i use one kit, i just replace it with another kit i bought. it is well worth it to have all these spare parts.
having parts like this though for any of the ones i mentioned, well its trueā¦ they really do replicate and make you suddenly find out you have another complete rifle built and you dont know where it came from LOL.
So far, I keep all my very small parts in a waterproof lure box. As I get more quantity, I could go for a box like that one, but Iām still keeping a full set of spares in the waterproof one.
almost all of mine are waterproof lure boxes, most are the large size like the one photoed, but i have 2 smaller ones for the glock and 1911 parts, which thinking bout it, i would have been much better off if i had just gone with the same size boxes for each one. Thatās the same one I got. Plano. iirc no longer in production, but thereās a lot out there still for sale. I have a couple which actually also have tackle in them 
if theyrāe not in production anymore iāll just buy whatever academy has that is the equilivalent. they do a great job holding the parts and iāve even put naming tags in each section for the parts. plus on the outside of each one i like to put the stickers i get from buying various parts.
Have this one for the building things storage and a smaller one for the range stuff you need, think you will need, what my buddy needs and the stuff I will never need but have to have spares of.

I have said both of these phrases at the range, here is some CLP and where in the hell is my CLP.
Iām thinking that Black Aces Tactical guy would have liked to have a 5 gallon bucket of CLP. He was dousing the bull pup every use.

I failed to remember to mention I have a few of the āHazard Fraughtā version of those lure boxes. I tested one by submerging it in a tote full of water for about 8 hours. No leaks. They donāt have the ādeepā version, however.

Iām more of a bulk parts buyer when it comes to my gun parts. Iāll see a deal on parts or one of my preferred vendors will have a sale with free shipping so Iāll stock up. You know, see a sale and grab 10 buffer tubes at once, a case of mags, etc. I think the only thing Iām short on would be barrels and hand guards. This is the primary reason every build I do winds up costing twice as much as well - Iāll buy the 10 pack of smalls from Doublestar and then see something shiny that I like, which turns into another buildā¦
