yep
Part of my Spring was recovering from the 3 tornadoes that hit Tallahassee all in one night. No power for three days. The city is still a mess.
I been having this saw for over two years with no issues and I really like it!
I have a 10" Remington pole saw that I have used for years. It will reach up to 14’ . They don’t sell those anymore, but this craftsman one looks to have similar capability. On an 8’ ladder you could take a lot of limbs down, then if you could get on roof, reach out and cut top off. Maybe just cut tree down, but have a good rope with tension on it with a truck if possible to pull it away from house when it falls.
Ultimately that’s what they did with the ropes. Too much for one guy, they had a crew of 5.
I need to get the last 2 pieces of shutter track up. Totally triple-illegal activity. As of this week, more illegal than bump stocks! No, seriously, I’m going to violate codes and HOA rules to protect myself from deadly debris.
Stay safe out Texas folks !!
The Gulf is very warm - 88.5 by our condo in Pinellas.
That’s jet fuel for a hurricane.
I’m in Panama City this week. Been watching it.
Apalachicola is 60 miles west, Perry 120. Forecast to hit big bend area. It jogs a little farther west every time I check, but so far we just have light wind and clouds. West side of storm always gets the least rain and tornadoes . Peninsula of Florida getting hammered with rain.
I’m in HHI, we had some tourists cancel but still had 20 houses checkin out of 28.

That being said if I had one reserved, I’d be there. Back in the day I’ve had a couple really cool hurricane parties.
I have a friend in Greenville, FL. Things are getting sporty.
Y’all stay safe over there.
Its the 2015 flood all over again.
