TON of crying in the Youtube comment section about PSA ditching the X9 in favor of a Flux Raider-esque offering.
Not that I put a lot of weight into kids crying on that platform because most of the comments on every video are half-brained at best, but I think this whole modularity thing might be a swing and a miss. Maybe I’m not quite up to the times, but are there really that many people swapping out FCUs into different grip modules often while only owning that single FCU?
To me, sounds like a major PITA and I’d rather just have stand-alone guns.
I may or may not have one with the FCU mode and unfortunately I like it the way it is and have never bought a different grip module for it. Have a friend that bought all three versions and doesn’t break them down that far, I guess he could if he wanted to.
I just wanted to get my hands on an X57 and maybe a 570 and I would of been good, now look at what you did. I may have to unretire !
Yea lots.of crying. They want s cheap version of the B&T. PSA knows its customer base though.

Okay, only question I have.
Is the foldimg charging handle that was once part of the Jakl 2.0 project (and is on their new AXR SSP rifles) going to be a part of the Jakl 1.5 update/upgrade?
I want one for my Jakl 1.0 upper, so I would love to see that folding charging handle be compatible with the gen 1 Jakl uppers.

Amidst all the whining, I saw one guy ask “did you really want a gun that only takes $50 B&T mags?” which is a legitimately good question. Of course they all said they did, but it sounded a lot like the million guys who said they’d buy the Lancet who we all know wouldn’t have.
In a interview Jamin said they bought two polymer companies to bring things to market faster and thinks 2026 will be their greatest year ever.

I seen they have a Krink in 9mm at the PSA booth.
I can’t exactly speak for the X9 voters (I didn’t vote for it), but when PSA announced the bolt action, 22 rifle, and 2011…I voted for the bolt action, 22, and 2011. Within a year I bought (you guessed it) a bolt action, a 10/22, and a 2011.
So again, I can’t speak for everyone, but I personally bought exactly what I voted for (just not from PSA). If most of the X9 voters were also going to do the same, then I can understand why they might be a little bit upset/bummed/disappointed.
Just a concept at this point. Polymer magwell, uses CZ mags and the AK-V blowback system.
But at the end of the day, it was a concept. Not a promised piece. Concepts don’t always make it to market, that’s why all the whining in the comment section is ridiculous. At this point I wouldn’t blame PSA for not showing off anything they’re tinkering with or thinking about trying to do at all.

I too am not too sure about the modular thing. even with the sig 320s modularity ive never been one to play change the grips or anything. i feel like if i have a spare grip laying around i need to buy the rest out so i can have a complete gun to use it all and not have parts like that laying around.. hence the AR situation i find myself in more than not… (heaven forbid i find another roll pin laying around here somewhere…

Yes I’d say undoubtedly. I wouldnt be surprised if they do start selling parts like it that will retrofit into the jakl 1.0 or maybe under their custom series line they’ll have one for it. idk… I would love one for all my jakls honestly.. the Knurled handle is nice and all… but i dont like it sticking out like it does personally.. a folding flush handle is much better, has been that way for just about any rifle with a handle like that. I do have to admit though those AXR lines are pretty awesome and im gonna have to end up getting some of them too. especially what the Jakl2.0 became, i liked those alot.. short stroke piston.. im in..
that was one of my concerns, another was i dont need another magazine style to stock, much less one that cost 50 bux a pop. i bet they all like the sound of it, but would hate it about 2 mags in.. if they could afford that much after the purchase of the weapon itself.
oh thats awesome.. .I love hearing him in interviews hes awesome… you dont have a link to it do you? i ask cause i like to see if he drops any other nuggets in the interviews that he doesnt mean to.. Rarely have i ever seen him do that. but its worth a shot to examine. the best ive done with it is by watching multiple of his videos being able to put one plus two plus three togethre and come up with something he didnt quite say but i figured out ya know what i mean? I bet 2026 will be their greatest year ever. they own quite a bit of manufacturing companies now… its quite amazing who all they produce parts for.. if the masses only knew… but thats ok… its “good enough” lol lol lol…just like a Geissele Mag with the same cage code.. . hahhahhaaa.. but i digress…
@TheAirHawk you’re right for that!! the Pak-Out is a pretty awesome line of Firearms!!! im impressed!!! perfect for carrying around concealed if need be in a large backpack. man what will they think of next.. price is a bit high for the shotgun but with the stuff it took to make it fold like it does i would say its probably as inexpensive as they could get it.. so id also say its pretty fair for that too.. 600-650… yeah its not a mossberg 500 at 350 but no 500 folded like that!!! what an awesome firearm.. thanks for sharing that!!! keep em coming!!

AXR Shotgun is part of their 570 line.. that is awesome.. im loving it you can build them off that lineup too.. man im gonna be a building fool!!!
i see the 9mm krink and idk if im too interested in that… i have an akp and dont really see the need for me to shoot 9 in the ak platform when i have so many options already in the AR platform. but the Mixtape volume 3 is looking awesome…and the VUK finally is looking better…
the Sabre 25 long rifle is looking awesome too.. but im saddend about loosing the adjustable gas block.
the sabre key is fricking awesome… but it would have been more awesome if we could build it… also though it is gonna be a tax stamp he said, even at 0 be aware you have to have it stamped.
the PSA 570 though is coming soon thats awesome. the semi auto is coming after the pump… but man, the last one is that x57 and its coming soon… im so stoked about it!!!

so they are testing every weapon out to 20k rounds, and if they all can always make it to that they’re ready for production.. thats pretty awesome to me. fairly rigerous testing too so you know its gone through a bit before they produce them to ensure the prototypes did not fall apart at 500 or 5000 rounds even… man its gonna be an awesome year or 3 coming for PSA !!! it truly will be! it looks like they’re really putting out things that folks are going to love and want. innovating the industry is what will keep it fresh, and some manufacturers just arent doing that.. AHem Kimber, GLock.. im looking at yall… lol..
you have a point. and a very valid one, but unfortunatly even if PSA were to have been able to go forward with production immediately from the day that shot show ended it would have taken about a y ear to a year and a half to make the rifles because of testing and refinement. so having them available for purchase within the year of the poll was just not something PSA was going to be able to do. by the way, that 1022 is a hell of a rifle good choice!
The X9 like the x57 to me looks just about like a mp7 which is why everyone wanted them to begin with.. if folks step back and look at the arx lineup they’d be pretty impressed or at least i am. Yeah the x9 may have been cool, but look at all the other cool sheet we got instead. its not just 1 item, its a ton of tthings. definatly the loss of the x9 has been a huge gain to us. or at least thats how i see it.
I get the disappointment though.. I sure was hoping to get a STG44 but it doesnt look like that’ll happen now sadly. one thing most folks fail to hear when psa and others launch these things, is the words this is a prototype of a possible production weapon that we are considering to build. the fact they are saying prototype and possible is a long way away from we’re making this for you next year… lol. but you know how it is.
