Shot several Staccatos. Again, the justifications I hear are always exactly like those: “it’s a cheat code, it makes you a better shooter, it’s the Ferrari of the gun world, etc etc.” It’s all false. Nothing objective or quantifiable about any of them, just things people say to justify the price they paid.
I have lined up one directly next to a Springfield and a RIA and gotten the same results out of all three using the same ammo in the same conditions. So did a couple other shooters. That’s how I came to my own personal conclusions regarding the platform and the costs for it.
I’ve had this same argument a million times with people regarding Daniel Defense ARs too, and again it’s always the same thing. Subjective and unquantifiable justifications but in reality there was zero performance, reliability, or quality difference.
It’s why I’m a little on the fence about PSA trying to appeal to that kind of crowd by producing a 2011. Maybe they redefine the market, or maybe the market rejects and nitpicks it for no reason other than its price. Given it’d be an entirely new market for them, just not sure it’d be worth it in the short or long term.
Funny, I’ve got a DD M4 V7 too, along with a bunch of other AR’s. I assembled most of them from parts, but I have complete guns from PSA, Spikes, etc.
Those rifles shoot just as well as the V7 and at a much lower cost.
Sabre-11 is what I would really like, especially if it took Glock mags.
Jakl Precision, since I want the Jakl 10 with a 20" barrel.
Olcan, I really want to have a bullpup with AR controls, although an AK version bullpup would be excellent as well.
Too many excellent choices!!
welcome aboard!!! I too want glock mags on many things, because i really dont want to have to buy many more magz just for a specific gun. the more guns i have that use glock mags, the better.
The Sabre 11 is a must have for me! I’m a double stack 1911 fan, but the intrigue of accepting Glock mags (one is the most widely owed mags in the U.S.) is…intriguing, LOL! Let’s get it going PSA, and don’t forget a compensator of some sort.
I think the creative juices have dried up. I picked the shotgun though it’s probably just like others…like a mossberg with magpul furniture. Then I picked the 22’s though I’d never buy one. Now an SVD type gun in 6.5 or even 54r would be fun to see. Sorry guys, these aren’t as cool as your last batch. Current stuff you have is pretty nice and I’m a fully fledged addict for 12 years now.
