I’m curious as to whether or not that lower is proprietary and if not, will it be sold separately? Either as a stripped or complete, doesn’t really matter.
If it’s milspec AR-15 where it matters, it might be a good option to drop a Jakl adapter kit and upper onto to get that ambi bolt lever (unless you simply can’t use Pmags in a lower meant for ICAR mags…)
If not, I think that’d be an interesting project for PSA to look into, making milspec AR lowers that incorporate the ambidextrous features (most specifically a bolt catch/release as you dont see this often on milspec lowers) without being proprietary and can be used with the Jakl uppers.
(Yes, I realize that the 2.0 update addresses the ambidextrious issues with the Jakl platform)
My understanding is its the lower that LWRC originally developed for their Six8 (6.8spc). When the patent was up other companies started making it. Allows for different mags to handle the dimensions of the 6.8/Valkerie case.
Well well boys and girls, it appears Cameron has yet another famous update for us..
someone a few days ago was asking about the big ol 50 cal Sabre Lancet!!! well Cameron has come out with the final updates for it too before shot, and they are on the PSA social media for your viewing.. but if you want see them now you can simply Click here for the SABRE LANCET!! if you want and see what he has to say!!
BookFaces is about to suckiest place to release the update video. I don’t have an account, so must needs “workaround” Zuckerpig’s Garbage trying to prevent me seeing it, or get me to sign up.
well here we are in Shot show heaven. Apparently theyve decided to come out with the list from last year, and here’s yet another product from the list that they are planning on dropping in the first quarter of 26!!!
so lets see, that means we’re gonna get the bolt gun, the pump shotgun, the semi-automatic shotgun, and the x57 so far all hopefully in just the first quarter of 2026!!!
well they’re now just teasing us with the Jakl 2.0 teaser and not really telling us much about it.. but you can see a good bit of differences just by looking at it.. .man thats amazing… the gun looks muchc mre streamlined then it did before thats for sure. gonna have to check it out for sure!!!
ya know i dont even remember this one… the PSA X9. … to me it looks like a x57 but in the 9mm.. and now its gonna be coming out soon too.. oh great. well bring it on!!! there is just no way i can afford all these thats for sure..
Jakl has so much to work against like an uphill battle against a perfect carbine you can grab for half the price from the same place.. unlike x57 potentially because what else in 5.7 is there?
and im really happy they made it rear charging, i never have been fond of any side charger
so i went back and watched this a couple of times.. its a lot more information than i thought. from what i gleaned, the 2.0 is no more gonna be the jakl 2.0.. .and the advancements from the 2.0 are going to be done on the jakl 1.5 they’re calling it, which basically is the 2.0 but retaining the Mil SPec Lower receiver setup, so that way the Jakl still will use the Mil-Spec Lowers.. Meanwhile what was the 2.0 is morphing into an entirely new gun that they are developing for us that they think we’ll love for sure… so that should be very interesting for sure… I look forward to seeing both of these little easter eggs in the next week or so for sure… im so excited!!!
