Shot Show 2025 Concept Gun Poll

Everything. Absolutely everything. With what PSA is putting out now, this runs through my head daily .

Im gonna be so broke..

the sabre keyin case no one saw the intro video…

I want to build a new quad rail AR just for the key.

It’s one of those things I have zero use for, I may never even shoot, but I want it just so I can get the “why the heck do you have THAT” reaction from people I show it to.

I read quad rail and I immediately thought quad Sabre key :joy:

I don’t understand why not just say “yeah we’re shelving this”

The ammo excuse is pretty ridiculous, it’s not gonna get any cheaper, it’s as cheap as ever with inflation, they can absolutely get it cheaper, testing does not need tens of thousands of rounds as gun designs are all known and so is material science. You can simulate the conditions on a computer and do a few thousand rounds of testing which would be at like what 15 grand at 3$ a round(which is what I can reload 50 for). You can overbuild certain sections too, you do not need that much testing. Someone in the comments said that they probably got a call from an agency or several, I think that’s probably what it is. Pretty much anyone can buy a 2/3 grand 50 bmg and it’s semi auto so that’s a lot of firepower.

The ammo is not an excuse. If sig had done 10,000 plus rounds of test fire maybe they wouldnt have guns that fire without the trigger being pulled. PSA literally cannot get powder right now and raising prices 2-3x goes against everything PSA stands for.

And no, they didn’t get a call from an agency. Dont spread rumors of things that didnt happen.

this is the most logical thing i think ive read all day. I concur sir. and am on board with you for purchase.

welcome back Archimedes, I assume you’re referring to the 50 cal bmg they were going to look into making? I think its wise for them to put it on hold for a while, and reassess once AAC is back up and running ammo after they have their own powder plant producing powder. When they are 100% making their own ammo again from all angles of it, well then we can see how low they can actually make the ammo prices go. this includes all the calibers including bmg. so thats the ammo price thing.

A main thing though i think is alot of folks forget what PSA’s known for, and what their main audience is… Its the everyday man, who cant spend tons of money on a single firearm. trust me, at my salary i could never afford a 50 bmg (or at least justify the purchase when there are so many other bills that need tending to, on my state salary) PSA’s bread and butter is the inexpensive gun, the 500-800.00 gun. that is not the 50 bmg by any means. so initially i think this gun was way out of order to begin with. Even producing it under the sabre name with pricepoints as high as up to 2000.00- 2500.00 i cant see it fitting in. but thats just me.

Only the future will tell if they bring it back, and we can hope for those that do want it, they will… but while you pine for the 50 bmg… ill continue to pine for the stg 44… deal?

If we are doing shotguns then do buck and slug 12 gauge including Mangum loads

Deal. We can do that!

however, yall heres another problem we’re gonna have to deal with.. they just released the next Mixtape Volume 3!!! in 8.6 Blackout!!! as if the others werent enough… man this is gonna be sooo wicked!! its based off the sabre 25 forgings so this is gonna be awesome!!! using a Plan b flash hider/supressor mount this thing is gonna be bad arse.. i had no idea they were gonna come out with it!! big surprise for me! now i gotta figure out if i want yet another caliber in the stable. …

Has psa thought of making suppressors from scratch instead of using a competitors shop?

They partnered with B&T to get AAC back up and running after they bought AAC. Wouldn’t be surprised if they go on their own or if they keep the partnership. With 3d printing being the new rage they make just keep the partnership.

i’m sure they have, and will. but i also know that there is a lot of collaboration going along in the gun industry regarding suppressors right now. AAC had suppressors that they produced originally on their own, but i am betting that they are so out dated now that standing them up and producing the originals without updating them would be ridiculous. hence the partnerships as GG said. Plus if you wathced the videos, you’d see theres been quite a bit of modernization going on in the field… thermal printing of titanium suppressors, and Iconial (sp?) printers? not to mention all the various models for each caliber i bet it is mind boggling picking the individual suppressor that you’re wanting to build. and then sell under their own name.

besides you also have Sabre now producing their own suppressors.. so yes, if sabre and psa’s sister club who specializes in higher end items can build and sell their won suppessors, well we should definately go forward with the whole lmaking our own suppressors under the PSA flag name too…

i think with technology being as advanced as it is now a days, anyone could and would go ahead and make their own suppressors.

If you have a long term partnership with some partners it may be a huge negative to change that for very little profit. Not sure their partners are competitors and are pretty long lasting partners? But I could be wrong on that never cared much about suppressors.

Inconel

B&T is good at making/printing and selling suppressors on a global scale, so I’m not too surprised that they’re willing to collaborate here in the US.

from what i understand they are more of an overseas corporation until recently and now are making things for the us more?

I started a new thread for 2026 to keep new products separate from the 2025 offerings.

excellent.. I’ve pinned it globally and am trying a new option ive not used yet so we’ll see how it works on each page..that said, i think we should go ahead and lock this one up now that the new 2026 is up.
so i’ll go ahead and do that.
