The chances that it is counterfeit or a scam is significantly higher when using ebay for gun parts. More than likely for that price you are getting the airsoft version or a flat out fake.
Amazon, especially 3rd party retailers, are also known to be fake. They buy a real one, put the fake one in the packaging and then resell.

Plenty of reputable dealers have that optic and i have never seen it for less than $90-100. Dont cheap out when it comes to an optic. You dont need to spend hundreds to have a reliable optic. And if you do have to rely on it, you dont want it to fail.
Buy once, cry once.
I learned this the hard way as well. I dont buy from ebay unless its something cheap with free shipping. If you do buy from Amazon make sure it sold by amazon and shipped buy amazon. No gun parts from either… just to be safe!!!
