Does psa offer a site to store pickup? Got my eye set on a 300blk build kit, but it’s not in stock at any location, just available online. Heading to a race weekend in Alabama, and I’ll be driving back Sunday and can reroute towards the Greenville or Denver locations. Stopped checkout, because I couldn’t find that option if it’s possible. Thanks
only serialized items and i doubt it would be at the store by this weekend.
As a customer, that would be a sweet option to have. Avoid the shipping fee and do some business face-to-face. This past Gathering, I think we went to 3 or 4 locations just because we had time and haven’t been to those. Out of town and even out of state people will stop regardless but if we can pick up items as well, well that would be the icing on the cake.
As a retailer, that would be just another headache to add. A separate counter for pickups? It would probably add to the foot traffic inside. Maybe increase in-store sales? You gotta think, if I’m ordering something online, I will probably buy something in store as well.
Thanks! I knew I was cutting it too close……but worth the ask
Still might reroute and stop off anyway, since my last race is Saturday and I always drive halfway home soon after I’m done, when driving those distances. Puts me about halfway home to stay at a hotel near a store for Sunday a.m. shopping, before the 2nd leg. Thanks again ![]()
also you can scroll down on the product page and see if a store has it in stock.
Yes definitely , if I was picking up an online order, you bet my tail would also be buying up ammo, small consumables, parts etc. as I was in there.
They used to do that back in the day at the Farrow store (which was also the warehouse so it made it easy.). That’s where I originally met @GamecockOperator back in 2013.
Yes sir, that’s what I did a few years ago when visiting my daughter in Charleston. Was shopping for an upper at the time, and one of the stores they live between had them in stock. Greenville showing a couple of the uppers I now want in stock. ![]()
There’s a HI Express or something like that basically in the Greeenville stores parking lot.
Great info, appreciated. I’ll map it to see if I can survive the drive after racing all day. 3-4 hours driving after racing is normally my cutoff, and my wife always lies and says she can drive a couple hours………..followed up by needing to switch back after 15 minutes
But that would be a super ideal spot. Thanks!!
And a Twin Peaks right there?
Does that Holiday Inn do extended stays? Like…forever?
That used to be a strip club iirc.
Negative.
Dang…….too bad ![]()
There’s a Strip Club a mile down the road from me, it’s been there since the early ‘80s. Always a good source of drunken car crashes.
About 25-odd years ago, an inebriated patron was politely asked to cease “handling the merchandise”. Upon failing that, he was gently assisted from his seat and lightly deposited face-first in the gravel parking lot.
Of course being an intensely self-aware person, and accepting the critique of his personal behavior by the establishment Security Staff, he promptly walked the ~one-half miles to the property of his former-employer, which happened to be a Construction Company.
Hotwiring, then “Borrowing” a somewhat large-ish Bulldozer that the owner had conveniently left for just such Emergencies; he proceeded to Drive said-same tracked Implement of Destruction Back to the Gentleman’s Club, and then through the side of it, only stopping when falling De-Construction Supplies rained sufficiently into the cab of the ‘Dozer that it required immediate abandonment…
Strangely enough, the then-new-owner of the Club was undaunted, and actually hired the company the former-patron-turned-Felon had stolen the ‘Dozer from, to rebuild.
Or so the story goes.
(This happened actually about six-eight months before The Wife and I Closed on our place)
Killdozer volume 1/2?
This was some half-decade prior to the Granby, CO incident. Perhaps about the time Heemeyer acquired his Komatsu, maybe a little before?
Soften the asking price?
