I bragged about the Taurus G4X as my EDC. But Taurus has issued a Drop-Safe (320) recall bulletin. I checked my serial number at their website (below) and PTL mine is drop safe. So check yours out but not all at once, dont want to crash the system lol…
Taurus also had the same issue with multiple PT series, Millennium, and Millennium Pro models
Guess they didn’t learn from that massive recall regarding those pistols
To be honest my fanboy rap is just an attemp to humor. There are allot of Taurus models I dont like. Now I’ve never owned the ones you mentioned but I own the G2C and G3C and dont care for either fit or action. The 605 357MAG I like as a backup and the LCP MAX fills a need as a pocket pistol but thats it besides the G4X that I love because it loves my hand and trigger finger. If a model works for me regarkess of brand I’m good to go.
Incidentally I own a 365X Macro. Great gun except for the firing pin protrusion 1/8" only after dry firing. Explained in detail to SS but they said it was normal. If you dry fire a 365 then lock back you can see it. In addition it remains in this state placing tiny impacts on the same stacked bullet primer each time its re chambered, a common practice with LE & Mil. My solution explained to SS is after dry firing you must manually press the firing pin back down inside its hole firmly with a hard object like a pen or screwdriver. This only occures when dry firing because the firing pin over extends its travel and gets wedged. It never happends with live fire or using snap caps. Why now for me its just a range gun.
