Test Fire Curiosity

If I buy a complete upper sans BCG and charging handle, is it test fired?

I’m thinking it’s not.

Just curious…

I’ll defer to one of the employees, but from what I can remember from touring the factory/shipping facility, there isn’t a range there that can meet the demand of test firing all their uppers and built firearms.

I didn’t even think about that possibility

That said, I’m pretty sure I know the answer :joy:

@rockymountainjeep Yes, we test fire all of our uppers. If the upper you purchase doesn’t have the BCG & charging handle we use our own stand in BCGs. I would hate to even fathom how many rounds of ammunition our MFG site goes through just test firing lol. Next time I’m in the area I’ll see if I can snap some pictures for y’all.

Thanks for clarifying, @Anthony_PSA ! I had a feeling I either missed it or didn’t remember it.

Yeah unless they are actively shooting its easy too miss. Its basically a small 3 lane 15(ish) meter range. Tucked in a corner of the MFG facility, the only way to really recognize it is either from the sound or the large pallets of ammo we burn through every day doing QC.

That’s awesome, and honestly not what I expected to hear. :+1:t3:

Thank you

I hear the workday goes faster if you use an auto-sear-equipped lower……
