Hey all, I’ve left reviews on this but they do not ever get posted–not understanding that at all. But here is what happened to me. I ordered an upper w/bcg and ch a while back. I failed to inspect it closely and much later I did, and discovered the bcg and bolt are definitely used parts! I have never shot it yet, and here are pics of brass smudging on the parts. Any other explanation for this? Also, anyone else try to post their experience and never get through? Thanks in advance.

Every firearm and upper is test-fired before leaving our facility. What you are seeing is residue from it being test-fired.

I had no idea. OK, well then PSA’s reputation is restored for me. Could you state the test firing protocol? I can see it may have been more than one shot, based on the bottom of bolt carrier showing brass. Or maybe that shows you just cycled the action with a loaded magazine?
I still don’t understand the review posting issue I have. If it does post, I’ll correct my review accordingly.

I can tell you it is guaranteed for life! I had a pistol jam they sent a return label fixed it and sent back on their dime.

where is it that you are posting these reviews that are not posting ?
and just as a good thought to know as TJ71 said, everything psa makes is guaranteed for life, as long as you dont monkey with it before you engage customer service… (i.e. take it apart, etc)

I had made it a 1 or 2 star review, so i should see it by sorting on lowest reviews, as none are that low.
Of course, if i now have no real beef, i’ll modify it or remove it when/if it does show up.
The website has been having some issues with reviews. @sean.psa has been working on it.
As for test rounds, i think it starts at 3.
Wow, i’m impressed they would fire 3 rounds–that is awesome.

Yes. My upper came with a bit of residue. Next time, I would appreciate it if they’ll add much more, so I can skip the now-costly break-in!

I can never post reviews either. I’ve tried for months…years actually. Always been happy with PSA products, and would like to leave a review, but it never works. I write the review and it says it’s sending an email verification, but I never get one. I have tried it 10-15 times. Checked spam, junk, etc. I sure as hell get all the sales emails and order confirmations, but not the review email verification. Gave up. Kind of frustrating. Tried it again today just for sits and giggles and no joy.
I have given up trying.

Well I agree with that. I do want test firing for sure. One tip i can offer is use AmmoSeek.com to search for all ammo–i’ve gotten some of the best deals ever there, and it totally helped me through the shortages. Also, right now thru end of Sept, 2023, Winchester has a 25% rebate on all FMJ packages! SGAmmo has received a lot of my money since they started shipping ammo for free on orders over $200. And I kinda like peeping in on their Hummer inventory as well, until the wife tells me "NO HUMMERS! and reminds me of all the projects I need to get done before I take on another one…

I have bought numerous items from PSA, they are one of the best customer friendly companies around.
As everyone has said, this is from test firing, beware of a company that would send you a firearm and you be the first test firer.

I would delete your review if I was PSA, but that’s just me.
Newbs are quick to comment on things they know nothing about.
