Before you leave a review

Folks, before you leave a review keep in mind this should specifically be about the product you purchased.

This isn’t ebay where your comments about shipping, or bad customer experience, etc affect the sellers rating.

What you are doing by leaving that type of bad reviews because you have a problem with PSA
is down playing the product itself and it gives others zero info about the item.

If you have complaints about those other things, leave those with PSA, or Google reviews or something, but these comments don’t have any place here unless they are about that item.

It’s shocking people are still doing this.
In large amounts too!

This is good feedback.

I have the same peeve!

Yeah, i get it, shipping took 4 days instead of 3, so you gave it 2 out of 5 stars. but does the damn thing FIT and work?! Or the opposite happens, they rate it a 5/5 for their positive experience, but when you buy it it’s a piece of crap! I think ebay ruined reviews forever.

Some people just can’t understand basic concepts like rating what you bought. Oh no they give something one star because THEY didn’t read the description right and ordered the wrong product. You can then rate their intelligence level at one star also.

I dont pay attention to reviews unless it is on Amazon and the price seems too good to be true.

I find those reviews to also be useful. I actually have walked away from companies like smith and wesson ,not because of the product itself but rather a never ending string of horror stories about their customer service. Same with Hecker & Koch’s “we got your money now #### off” approach to customer care… They absolutely don’t stand by their product, you get a box a useless warranty card and a phone number to nowhere, and the sheer volume of what you would consider bad reviews is tipped me off to it.

Crappy customer -service reviews SHOULD absolutely be posted here as well as other places. When manufacturers choose to supply certain retailers with their product and the retailer is utterly useless, it’s a direct reflection on the judgement of the manufacturer themselves. Product may be great but if common sense is non-existent at the manufacturing level, your warranty may not last as long as you think. When PSA hires worthless call center personnel, places you on hold for generations then promises a call back, do so then hang-up when the customer answers (makes it look like they attempted to reach the customer) the newest CYA trick in the book for call center, entry level, minimum wage, zero knowledge people is pathetic. I spoke to EOtech directly today and they wanted to help but what has been sold-by PSA is out of their hands. They are looking into a track record of PSA customer complaints. Palmetto State Armory, NEVER AGAIN.

You should definitely leave a review of the entire service. Especially with PSA’s god awful customer service. The amount of times they’ve canceled orders on people for no reason is insane. Bear creek arsenal has muchhh better service. BY THE WAY I STILL HAVENT BEEN REFUNDED FOR MY GIFT CARD YOU CANCELED.

I agree. Nothing is more frustrating than spending your hard earned money on a product to be defective and than the customer service of the company that made that product to be just as bad. PSA makes some awesome products but their customer service and their shipping times are the worse in the industry

So far, my experience with everything PSA has been pleasant enough that the majority of my shopping needs are met and fulfilled by PSA. I have had a few issues with a small number of products but they were taken care of by PSA.
The only hang-ups that I have, generally regarding product reviews is that I demand having a well established experience with any product before posting any reviews and experiences. I can’t stand it when companies harass me for a review on a product that I have yet to fully validate and thankfully PSA has not annoyed me about reviews at this point.
As it currently stands, I have been pleased enough with the PSA product lines that I have to make PSA one of my favorite brands.

I personally think a review should contain anything and everything you want to include.

It’s the consumers (YOUR) job to shift through and choose what IS and ISN’T important to YOU.
What do YOU want? Cheap? Top notch quality? Fast? Customer service? If you want everything under the sun then start your own business because every company has pkuses and minuses.

I’ve had good experiences with PSA and a horrible experience that I choose to not even think about because it’s totally unacceptable. But I choose to still do business with them because, well you win some and loose some. If I completely cut off every company that messed something of mine up. Well. I’d be living in a cave making everything I need myself and raising/growing my own food as well.

The one thing that I think is stupid is people complaining about shipping speed…

First: PSA has never ever ever promised fast handling. It’s literally spelled out on the website and IT IS slow. But you know this up front. Ammo can take time, receivers will take time, complete guns will take time. I/We/You know this upfront.

Second: Once its picked up PSA has no control over the incompetent clowns that cant drive a brown truck from point A to point B.

I’ve never really had a problem with their shipping times. Hell at different times I’ve ordered ammo and it’s been on my porch in 2 days. With all the stuff going on in Upper Northwest recently things have varied from that. I understand it. With that being said AFAIC they still do as good or better than any other retailer I deal with. I agree with CR every entity has strengths and weaknesses to include each and every one of us. In case anyone would care to look they have been actively searching for employees for CS for over a year. Finding good employees is a problem everywhere. They are putting in a good faith effort to improve a known weakness.

100% right.

I’ve placed several orders w/ PSA and have always been happy.

If I left a review won how great “Bob” was in helping me that would be more than welcome. If on the other hand “bob” was a jerk, that should also be posted here.

I’m sorry you had a negative experience. It sounds like a bad mishap. I can absolutely say without a doubt they are not a “scamming company”.

If I were you, I’d think about never using them again either. I don’t blame you for doing so as I’d do the same after that experience and footwork to get money back.

But on the flip side I guarantee that’s a one off and it wouldn’t happen again. I’m a hard to please consumer and I’ve spent enough on PSA stuff to feed a small third world nation. I wouldn’t do that if I thought they were a scamming company. I really want to suggest trying them again, but I realize that would be a long shot for you.

Financial issues = your bank and the CC processor, not PSA.

It sounds like a disconnect between your card issuer and the merchant. Considering the billions of card transactions completed daily worldwide, it happens a lot.

Since PSA never saw the payment, but the bank has removed funds from your balance, you should be able to complete the dispute/chargeback without PSAs system flagging it. You should be able to dispute the charge as “merchant never received payment”.

It’s not a threat; they’re telling you how their system normally works. Chargebacks are automatically flagged in PSA’s system when the issuing bank takes the funds back.

If the payment was never received by PSA, the card issuer will find that during their research of the transaction. They will put the funds back into your available balance. Since it shouldn’t be taken from PSA, there shouldn’t be a chargeback flag.

The disput process isn’t an automatic reversal. The bank will issue a provisional credit while they continue to research the transaction. It’s a federal regulation they are following; “Reg E”. You’ll get a permanent credit at the end when they determine what went wrong. The research includes contacting PSA’s bank to figure out what went wrong.

It sounds like both the customer service agent and you are only able to provide information about this that is available first-hand to you both. Since neither of you have the full picture of what has actually happened, you are both arguing things from your perspective. Neither of you are 100% wrong, but neither of you are 100% correct also.

There is no malicious intent of fraud on PSA’s behalf.

Again, this is a common occurrence in banking. Just dispute the transaction so the bank can put back your money.

Correct. PSA processed and your bank and processor then rejected it, which is why PSA had to cancel it.

If you did a chargeback, you will now have to clear that with PSA CS or you may not be able to order from them again.

Just because it shows on your card doesnt mean it has “gone through”. Case in point: many gas stations charge $1 to see if its a valid card. That charge will go through and then just disappear.

Superpredator has tried to explain this, and i did as well. Obviously you know exactly what you think is going on. Your chargeback will result in your inability to order again. However if you would gave had patience PSA would have issued the refund once it actually went through (again, not immediate despite what your bank website/app says) and you would be good to go. You do you though.
