Thats easy for me. This is my EDC my Cajunized CZ 75D PCR “Copperhead.” I have thousands of rounds put through it and shooting accurate is as easy as pointing my finger.
For me, shotguns are my favorite. Over the past few years, a lot of memories have been made around these from skeet/trap/5 stand shooting with my dad to taking him and a few brothers to Kansas for a pheasant hunt. Last year I took my daughter and her now husband and my wife on their first bird as well. This year I’m taking my neighbor on his first bird hunt also.
This is my favorite gun. It’s a Stevens model 311, a double barrel .410 shotgun.
It’s my favorite because:
It used to be grandpa’s.
It’s old, and I like antiques. Yet, it is in practically brand new condition.
It is quiet enough and the velocity is slow enough that you can hear the shot “zing” down the barrel for a split second before it leaves, which is really cool to me.
This is the newest addition to my EDC. I actually replaced my G48 with this. The grip angle is more natural for me, and I shot it better than my 48. As much as I like this gun I am hoping to replace it as my favorite with a… Dagger Micro Compact maybe.
This is 1 of 6 PSA AKs that I own. I actually bought this one on a whim, and it quickly became one of my favorites. The 7.62 power in such a short package is unbeatable. Also, the aesthetic is incredible. Spray painted to match my childhood Call of Duty dreams.
These are my 3 favorites in my collection. My grandfather’s family heirloom passed down to him, the Colt 1911 sneak back from WW1 produced in early 1918. The M1 Carbine he purchased with a 14xxx s/n (second run from inland) and my M1 Garand almost entirely original from March of 43, also was lead dipped during the war. I love surplus firearms, nothing beats holding a piece of history and sending freedom seeds down range with them.
