Would you buy a 10 mm if PSA made it? have you ever shot a 10 mm are we search them?
If PSA placed the same skill and ability in a "Best Millimeter"caliber weapon I would give it a shot. 1cm is my favorite!
Ab-so-lute-ly!
Never shot 10mm and I really want to
It would be hard to knock my Grand Power P40 10mm from it’s position of best 10mm. Neither my RIA 1911 or my S&W M&P have been able to, but I would welcome any attempt PSA would like offer.
I actually looked at the P40 and was impressed, but I wanted the reputation of the S&W and went that route. The 10mm round is incredible on just about any platform.
Yes! ![]()
No ![]()
Maybe?
Who’s on first?
nah. not intersted in the round. i’lll keep my .45ACP. its Gods Round afterall… Mr. Brownign designed my favorite weapon for use with the .45 so that is all that matters.
I have the S&W M&P in 10mm and a Remington R1 Long-Slide in 10mm. The S&W recoil is a little brutal. The Long-Slide is a pussycat even with full-house loads. Not even the recoil of the 45 ACP. I recently purchased a PA Rock. If you make a 10mm as well as you made that gun I’m all in!

Whats on second.
I’m a 10mm fan. I do however favor Steel Over Polymer from a shooting experience point of view.
I own Two early vintage 10mm Colt Delta Elites , both an early 1987 in Blue and a slightly newer in Stainless.
The arguement can be made on Early Delta Elites being susceptible to frame cracks over time at the Slide Stop Removal notch. A problem that was resolved…or can be stopped ahead of time.
My 3rd 1911 in 10mm is a Rock Island Armory in FDE…Strengths…a very reliable Pistol at a Cost Effective price.
Weaknesses …a Cast Frame. A Bushingless Slide to Barrel set-up known as a Bull Barrel. , Mediocre Sights and a single Magazine not known for prolonged Service Life. This is still more gun than you are paying for, if bought right?
Lastly the Glock 20 10mm. This is my One and Only venture thus far into the 10mm Market and Polymer.
I based this purchase off of plenty of previous Glock purchases that have Never failed me. I already had 9mm’s galore and their .357Sig and 45ACP models , so I had something to draw on regarding Glocks and Umph.
The Glock Strengths. Obviously Reliability and Reputation. Capacity a definite plus. Sight Options, you name it.
I can say with certainty. The Higher the Mag Capacity? The less brutal the shooting experience is. The added weight has a Dampening effect regarding recoil and muzzle climb. This Obviously decreases as the Magazine empties.
The Glock is a great Utility weapon…and a 1st choice if walking in the NC mountains. Should I encounter a Bear, Wild Cat or whatever? I Want that added Capacity to be a 40 point favorite in that situation.
I do Not see myself buying a Glock 29 for Personal Defense…nor do I see buying a Dagger or S&W Polymer in 10mm or any other caliber. I’ve found my Niche’ Pistols and I’m satisfied.
I do intend to buy a 10mm Colt Delta Elite " Rail Gun" as soon as the right deal presents itself.
Lastly…regarding 1911’s in 10mm…Thank God for GunMagWarehouse and MecGar…they are my lifeline of quick support. Nobody ships faster than them.
I don’t know
3rd base.
I don’t know
Would it be large Frame Glock style were you can put in barrels to shoot 40S&W and 357 SIG? And swappable to a 45ACP slide? That might make things interesting.
