This is my favorite gun (Remington 870 Express). It’s my favorite because it was my first gun; I got to mod it since the extractor was junk MIM (also add beefier carrier latch spring); it was the first gun my kids shot; 12 gauge is a marvel of engineering (it’s the do-it-all gun); shot many, many rounds through it. It was the gateway drug to Palmetto State and the ARs that my son and I own now, plus other pistols.

Please excuse the dirty lap gun picture, but this is currently my favorite. Not one I’ll be shooting, but a cool piece to have! May not be anything exciting to most, but it’s an old Star Model B recently passed down to me by my Grandfather who’s currently battling cancer.
We don’t necessarily know the true origins of it, as it was gifted to him by one of his close friends. The story goes he pulled it off a guy in the Korean war, but I’m not too sure on the accuracy of the story as it was long ago!

Took it out to shoot just to see how it feels, and now my goals are to clean it up and make a neat decorative wall piece out of it like all his old collector instruments he’s been passing down to me as well (got a real neat lap steal/slide guitar, 100+ year old open back banjo, equally as old fiddle).

My latest build. M4 clone Colt upper, 14.5 SOCOM heavy barrel, Geissele SSA-E trigger in a PSA lower with KAC rail and rear sight. Shoots dime groups all day long.

A KE Arms K-9 lower with a PSA GEN4 16" 9MM NITRIDE 1/10 15" LIGHTWEIGHT M-LOK RAILED UPPER. Newest Gun always makes the " favorite gun" list. It will be topped with a BURRIS FASTFIRE RD 1X35.5MM RED DOT also from PSA. I’m imagining myself getting to the range and slapping steel with 9mm often this winter. . . I hope it comes true.

This is my favorite of all my guns. My father bought this probably early 1970’s at a 5&10 store I believe. If I remember correctly it was $15. I could replace every other gun in my collection, but not this one.
