Glock 43 is my EDC. This gun is one of my favorites because I can easily conceal it. I carry it in a Tier 1 holster with an extra mag. Both mags have Shield Arms +2 extensions.
My father immigrated from Scotland and served for 22 years in the US Military. He instilled a love of country in me as a boy and as such I followed in his foot steps. He was a gun collector as well. Unfortunately Michael James Gordon Osborne passed away of malignant melanoma in 2012.
He had often showed me his all matching serialed WWII Colt 1911. His prize possession. He told me it would someday be mine.
My stepmother sold it. I was heartbroken. Even her own brother called her out as he witnessed my father telling me it would be mine some day.
I couldn’t afford one so I saved up for a long time and bought something I could still value in a 1911 as an heirloom to pass to my child.
I learned a valuable lesson and have a legal Will and Trust to ensure this never happens to my child.
Lovin the variety in this thread.
Different firearms
Different reasons
Different pets
But all loved!!!
I bought one of these around 1975, it came as a set with the M66 12 guage single shot brake barrel (lever action ). Both together were $71 plus tax. I was 15 years old, by myself, and the guy asked if my Mom said it was okay. I said yeah. Out the door I went… There was a time when young people were treated as adults, and acted like it. I went on many a hunting trips with the .22 shoulder slung and shot gun in hand.
Wish I still had them.
Umm, maybe not a pic of my favorite gun… (I’ve been known to go off topic) but hey. Heroes walk among us, my son is one. I cropped the hand written part @ the bottom.
This is my favorite “cheap pistol” it’s the cheapest gun I own. I bought this LCP.380 off a friend for $150, no tax, no transfer, no shipping. Most the time I just leave it in a lockbox in my car in case I forget and leave home unarmed.
My “free” Dagger.
I was going to get an AK GF3, it was 949.99
One day it popped up on a Daily Deal for 900.00 with a Dagger included. So basically PSA paid me 50 bucks to take this Dagger off their hands. I’m no fool, so this is my first of several Daggers!
This is my gen 2.5 Glock 26. My dad got it new in around 1998 or so. I borrowed it to take my carry permit test when I turned 21 and the only pistol I owned was a Hi-Point C9 and I was embarrassed to take the range portion of the test with it
Fast forward to a year or two ago my dad got hot and heavy wanting an Sig P365 so I offered to let him have mine. He insisted we do a trade and offered me his Glock 43 and I jokingly said how about the old 26 and he said sure. It’s definitely one if not my favorite carry guns.
Some of my favorite pistols. I’m a firearms instructor and often I teach new shooters. I bring a variety of firearms to range days with me so students can find firearms that fit in their hands and that they enjoy shooting.
I’ve had to keep buying PSA Daggers because multiple students love the way they fit and when multiple shooters are on the line, I needed multiple daggers!
This is my first and only AK. WASR 10/63 I purchased when I was 18 years old from a gun show at the county fairgrounds.
I was proud of it and it was my favorite gun for many years.
A lot has changed since then and now I’m a big fan of my 300BLK pistol.
Honestly… my favorite is my newest Dagger. Something about this one is different than the first Dagger and the fact my cat has a fondness of anything FDE doesn’t hurt
Springfield Armory Hellcat. I carry this now as my EDC. Love the size and weight and the optic is my first on a sidearm which I have to admit, takes a little retraining to get used to but once you’re all dialed in, it’s hard to beat.
Added the Apex trigger. It’s a little snappy and I now wish I opted for the ported muzzle device but it’s still fun to shoot.
