The effect of sharp pointed bullets

headshots are dumb? especially if the “bad guys” are wearing body armor… ok

i have seen people in body armor get shot in the chest from a sniper roll over and immediately return fire hitting the sniper and he happened to be a medic so he also ran up and saved the enemies life…

Wow, it’s been a long time since I have had a vivid flashback so here goes. It was 1967 near a place called Dong Tam. I saw a Victor Charlie that was not wearing any kind of body armor take a 50 bmg to the belly and then get back on his feet and detonate a sachel charge opening a hole in our perimeter wire.
I am sure a lot of the guys were hoping for a head shot but it never happened.

never seen someone shoot back after they got their knee blown away, know for a fact many people shoot back after being shot in the body armor… but yea you’re wise

There was an armored home invasion a few miles up the road from me about a year ago, I saw the security camera video showing his soft armor vest.

I thought it was because of the drugs that they were always eff’d-up on?

well, actually it was sort of created by accident during the Mozambique war of independence by a guy carrying a 9mm. It worked so they made it part of their training. Yeah, wasn’t a lot of armor back in the 60’s and 70’s and it was more that the 9mm didn’t always drop a baddy right off. But, it works very well at cqb distances in present time were armor is more of a thing.

What’s the velocity of your TUI reloads?

AA No. 7 powder.

Start Charge: 6.2 gr. - Average velocity: 1705 FPS

          • 6.4 gr. - Average velocity: 1770 FPS
Maximum charge: 6.6 gr. - Average velocity: 1851 FPS

I am going to to grab some of these. Any others you’d suggest?

The Fort Scott TUI are what I worked up the load for. Fill in the standard “it worked in my gun, not yours” disclaimers.

Peace favor your sword,

I’ve used those in the 9 short (380) and they worked well.

Good for states where Hollow Points are illegal (except cops).

Because Hollerpoint Superdeadly Armour-Piercing, M1-Abrahms Tank-destroying, Nukular-Asploding, Deadly Lung-Blowing Bulletzez.

Testing consistently proves these out. They don’t fail in any meaningful way because they always spin and therefore always function, no jacket to separate, cavity to clog, velocity to exceed, or petals to open too far.

The physics is always the same and faster is always better for these.
