Tickets just dropped! Just bought mine and now I’m waiting and hoping Barrett comes back for the 1-mile challenge again.
Its going to be another good event!
Is there talk about Barrett not being there?
No, but Barrett hasn’t committed yet.
Last year it seemed like Barrett didn’t announce or the tickets didn’t go on sale til mid-December I think. It was super fun to do though. Just wish they had swag or even a table selling gear.
What are the dates? All I saw was the 2025 event listed.
March 20-21
Might have to check this out.
Its a lot of fun @Dfreedom . Once you pay the admission price you shoot anything you want, all guns and ammo provided. There is a vendor village for swag and stuff for sale, and food trucks for food.
It’s worth it. Just as a cost analysis of a range day, you would spend significantly more if you did this kind of shooting on your own. The added benefit of getting to test out a bunch of different guns, some even before they hit the market, is the just icing on the cake.
Vendor village is great and horrible at the same time. I spend way too much in there
lots of great vendors. I think it’s the VFW that always gets my $25 for their fundraising.
One thing I’d love to see, is Beretta put their 1301 and A300 AWAY from the clays so you can actually use it and get a feel of it.
@GuitarGuy do you know if the Gathering page on PSA’s website has been updated for the list of vendors?
Just what I need, another place to spend money. Sounds good!
It has not yet.
Its a lot of fun. On Sat morning we usually have a forum meet and greet with swag bags.
Sometimes biscuits.
When Sean decides to get them…
Anyone know if Barrett is doing the 1-Mile challenge again? I know there tickets came out in either November or December of last year.
@Welder we have not heard anything about Barrett returning.
I remember last year it was miserable standing in line for them. The Barrett guys looked like they were over it too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t come this year but I do hope they do. It was one of the few vendors that had long range rifles and glass to test out.
Before they sold tickets it was walk up and pay, and was always backed up.
