I’m sure it will be fine ![]()
very nice… i like that barrel.
PM sent…open it
I have a Model 60 new in box and 1 I use for squirrels and other critters. 1 manlicher composite stock 10-22 stainless new in box I purchased at Kmart when they were getting rid of their inventory for $150. I have a fluted stainless I purchased at a yard sale for a 10-22 but have never attempted to do a build. I am itching to do one but not sure what tools etc. are needed. Any input is appreciated. Pictures to follow. Thank you.
I have 2 I picked up cheap. I’d love to put a threaded barrel on one for my Oculus.
This book will educate you…it did me. A good detailed interpretation w/awsome photos.
When l opened the book l found pics of my first 3 builds! Back then l jeweled the bolts and even near the muzzle, the stainless build also had a trigger shoe fitted. I totally forgot l did that!
Thank you. Much appreciated.
You got some good finds, choose the least desired to do your first build. The design is simple and less intimidating than others. Many good aftermarket vendors out there. After your first satisfying build…well for me l could not stop. It’s still that way. Hope this helps and get u some benchtime!
I have 2 used 10-22s that I would use. I am a novice to builds but this looks like a great book. Thanks again and also for sharing pics of your builds.
Awesome! Any questions you can PM me and l will respond ASAP.
Had both myself, just passed my Marlin 60 to my son for his kids to learn with
that’s how you do it. teach them right, but teach them young so they know right from wrongg.
That build looks fun! Nice setup!
Well said sir!
A Marlin 60 l passed down and he is a lefty, a few powder burns would not stop him.
Shooting a S&W K-22 Masterpiece that day too. All about safety and educate. Pics taken 2014. Good memories that last a life time!
Taken last fall, he is a good operator. Proud Papa!
And this 12 yr old coming up through the ranks! Running a Foxtrot Mike 9. She too will be a good operator.
Just found this pic! My youngest grandson was age 10 when this was taken. Running a 300 BLK this day, subs.
Awesome photos of your grandkids shooting. Teach them right, teach them young. I love it when folks share the firearm hobby with their kids like i was shown when i was young. It truly is a good experience for them in my opinion. Teaches them not to be afraid of guns, but to be very respectful, and to know when to touch them under supervision and when not, and all the good safety things that go with them, as well as responsibilty. good job
Awsome Brother, my thoughts exactly ![]()
