I’ve never bought from them myself @Rufus
This one just popped up first in my search.
They were better on the TX 22, not good but better and expensive to ship but low on tax. The mags? I still don’t have them and no response on an email asking for a shipping update.

i’ve owned the GSG 191 and do own the sig sauer GSG 1911. the sig sauer is identical to the GSG in all things other then the markings.. it truly is a GSG just re-marked as a sig sauer.
that said, the sig sauer 1911 is a great pistol i enjoy shooting it, and its accurate and easy to use. i’d recommend it to anyone, just like i would the colt marked GSG 1911 as well.

I’ve posted these here before but this thread looks like a good place to show them again and technically not 1911s but close. A Ballester Molina and a Sistema model 1927 from Argentina, both converted from .45 to .22LR. As an aside the S&W M&P FPC in .22LR looks very interesting to go with my 9mm.

heres my sig 1911-22. personally i think its as good as just about any other 1911 22 out there. I’d prefer to have a dedicated 22 like this.. instead of taking down my 1911 45’s witha conversion kit. but to each their own.. and i do think the conversion kits are great though nothing about that is bad as i use a cmmg one in my ar15’s.

I have had the Hammerli for a while now and always enjoy taking it to the range to plink around. Its made in Germany probably where all the others are made like Sig, Walther and Firefly etc. Umarex factory. Hammerli is a Walther company not sure why the created it. Shoots really well and hardly any failures, it hated the sticky Aguila 22lr, I just stick to CCI target or vermin.
Think I got it for just under 300 dollars on sale at Basspro.
Its all metal construction, I suppose cast aluminum but it has a nice heft to it about 35oz unloaded I believe.

Yeah got the email the other day on the release of the FPC 22 and the 22X handgun. Both look very interesting.

all of the GSG build guns have a threaded barrel, that has then a thread adapter to allow you to have a threaded barrel on it if it makes sense. its kinda odd. the way it works is you take the barrel out of the slide, unscrew the tip of the barrel, screw in the threaded barrel adapter to the barrel, then reassemble to your pistol like normal, and voila you now have a threaded barrel on your GSG pistol… I say GSG, because the are all GSG derivitives. .they all have the GSG markings on them, regardless if they’re made by walther for colt, or SIG Sauer like mine, theyre all GSG.. and for like 250 you really cant go wrong.
But anyways once you get your thread adapter on the threaded barrel, you can affex your can, or whatever you wish.

This is essentially the same as the TX22 first generation standard pistols. The “Competition” first gen and IIRC the “compact” versions had a heavier barrel, that didn’t require the adapter. I think all of the gen 2 have the heavy barrel. Because Suppressors are Cool. ![]()

I have the ATI also. Very good. Not picky about ammo or anything.
