All this talk of maintenance, I just realized my 53 year old winchester 190 may be due for cleaning, guess I’ll go out on the porch and, send a few and evaluate whether or not it’s time !

Now you are adventurously in the Talo avenue of the 10-22! More patterns and options to drool over

More appropriate for high country l would think. But l dig the swamp people theme.

I saw those, it’s like this whole other world opened that I knew nothing about…

I’m just bummed that I can’t send my stock to them…

oh lord, thats not always a good place to be in… you tend to end up spending much more money.

1979 Ruger Carbine 44 Magnum $925.00… Local, man that is hard would take all plus some of my 10mm money been saving up. I just wish 44 mag ammo was not so ridiculously priced but doubt I would fire this every weekend anyway. Sorry to derail your thread again @19foxtrot but in fairness it is a 10-22 just on steroids.

Looks really clean maybe some barrel wear on the bluing.

No derailment at all sir. That…as we know
is a awesome price! Especially in AK l would think?

Yeah just didn’t want to be that guy!

Think I will have to wait on the 10mm. Just to have such an American Rifle I mean one of Ruger’s first. 44 in carbine is about as American as you can get! He will take 900.00 with ammo he didn’t say how much.

Yeah taking it apart can be a science project. I’ve had to replace the recoil buffer part of it a time or two as well.

With the daily deal PSA had a few weeks ago I was able to purchase the Christmas present after your 12th birthday for the last of the grandkids. Two of them will be in storage for 6 years before they get them.
