I know what you mean. I’ve put myself on a GunBroker sabbatical. I said I was going to take it easy this year, I spent a ton on firearms last year, but I’m already 3 gun purchases in the second week of March.

Thank you :blush:

Love the side folder you painted.
I’m curious if you seen the new 22 from Bear Creek that’s coming soon.

Why would one choose the BCA over the Ruger 10/22? Genuine curiosity.

@Coolwin1776 all factory and clones are side charged but BCA did it again…Gen2 side charger you got to have a hex key to remove the bolt. I tried their earlier version (not a Ruger clone) but it failed bad and l sent it back.
@Jammo
60 yrs of building the Ruger 10-22 brother! Not me the company lol.

Please do! But it is a good looking rifle. I wonder if a standard factory bolt would drop in?

It was a BCA upper only for a AR platform. It came badly scratched but a good looking upper. Failed failed failed!

That looks very good. I have an old composite Butler Creek folding stock that is looking pretty tattered. I wonder if I should paint it like that? My original thought was restoring the polymer to make it look good somehow

Thank you sir! The Brownell’s epoxy wears very good just follow the instructions. I have a dedicted convection oven for small parts to speed up the curing. Took my stock to my daughter’s to use her oven (convection). Her house smelled like a paint line at a factory lol. I do wish l sanded/prep before paint, would have been a smooth outcome :confused:

@Yota-walker - critical thinking hurts! Jack is like “yes…yes, you have 4 stocks 2 barrels and whats in the boxes?” Didn’t he play the DEVIL at one time!!!

Took me long enough to pull her out but here she is. First 22lr rifle I bought when I was a college kid sometime back.
