Trigger pin won't come out

Picked up the black one today. The roll pins can out simply enough with a roll pin punch BUT I cannot get the trigger pin out. Wiggling the slide stop does not help. What is the problem?

Sometimes it’s not just wiggling the slide catch that’s needed. You may need to push it forward and maneuver it so that it is no longer in the groove of the trigger pin.

I seem to remember having to play with mine a bit to get it out.

I wound up snipping the wire spring off of the PSA slide stop. Removing the PSA slide stop and trigger pin than casting them aside. I then installed a different slide stop and pin. Now it comes out and goes back in like it should.

ok and for the bad advice but someone has to say it and yes i did it… use a roll of duct tape and a punch with a screw driver and just really wack that sucker…

you can beat the crap out of these just like real glocks, all the same material…

Terrible advice. All you’re doing is damaging your trigger pin or slide catch… Probably both. Better order replacements :person_shrugging:

“all you’re doing” hurr ok elmer calm down with the assumptions… all i did was get the pin out, you are assuming something was damaged because you are inexperienced.

Says the guy that suggests people Hulk smash the trigger pin out… Smh. Seriously, if you cannot give good advice, don’t give any at all. Someone will listen to you, and they will beat the damn pin out destroying the slide catch for sure.

Chill guys…

Brother, if we can’t have a back and forth about the right/wrong way to do something specifically related to a psa product while on a psa forum, then what are we doing here?

I’m seeing this “issue” from a much different perspective… If people are beating the crap out of the trigger pin trying to remove it without properly aligning the slide catch, customers are going to complain to psa when they ultimately damage either part. It’s important to give quality advice so that not only can people successfully accomplish the task, but also so they’re not contacting customer service asking for replacement parts because they took unfortunate advice from a member of the official PSA forum.

By all means have a discussion. Do it respectfully though. It was headed down a not so respectful path.

im just saying they probably wont break it, there is less chance they will than wont. people baby their firearms too much, in my opinion, a good boomstick is one you can fix by beating it against a stone or with a rock…

I have two dagger frames where the trigger pin is stuck. I’ve wiggled the slide lock all, hammer, etc. It’s just stuck.
