I moved here (AZ) from Washington state and I love it. Summer use A/C or the pool. Now that summer is over we get 9 months of great weather.

Crap, now it’s time to drag out the heavy coat

Now it’s time to quit rolling down my socks….

(yes, I’m one of THOSE fruitcakes that wears shorts year round, even through snow and ice)

(And I’m an old guy!)

(But I’m not stupid - outside work, I have Coveralls)

We survived 4 Phoenix summers in the mid 90’s. 1995 stands out in my mind as one of the hottest on record during our time there. It hit 120 at some point. Honestly though, none of it really felt all that bad to me. I mean, I came to realize any temp over 90 there was just a number. It all felt the same -HOT!

By the time we moved back to Ohio it took a minute to realize we didn’t actually own any cold weather clothing. The local Goodwill made a few bucks that day.

Ha! We moved from California to Nebraska. I know how that goes. Not one person even owned a jacket in the family. We just use hoodies. Although I’ve noticed in cold climates the people are bigger wussies than we are. If it hits 50 they all bundle up like they are going to a ski resort. I’m still in shorts and a hoodie and I’m fine.

Bracing for 15 degrees tomorrow. I definitely bought a jacket for that. Lmao

Man it got cold fast in AZ this year, temps we’re seeing now don’t normally show up till late Dec. and January, some nonsense about getting down to 27deg. Monday or Tuesday night

The coldest my body ever felt was in the Mojave Dessert stationed at Ft. Irwin CA. 1979 in a Tank with no freakin heater! Winter daytime upper 70’s to 80’s then the sun sets…brrrr!
