Taking a gun to bed mimics standard advice. Make sure its clean, make sure you can trust it, and make sure you know how to use it. Having said that, I still prefer 3 pistols under the covers, one on at my right hand, one at my left hand, and the huge one where it always is.

I have 2 big dogs at the foot of the bed, and opsec denotes im already saying too much, but i have my mossberg zombie hunter beside me and the psa 1911 i built in the nightstand ready to rockā€¦ since i violated opsec a little i figured why not violate it totally.
