What would it take to make a dagger slide work on a glock 19 gen 5 lower??

Would love to take advantage of the slide+optic deals I see pop up. Is it doable?

I believe you can, but it isnt easy. Off the top of my headā€¦back plate, ambi safety, sights (gen 5 are a different factory height iirc), and perhaps more.

I was hoping to get the new slide with the holosun combo and just pop it on my gen 5 frameā€¦ With as little mods as possible, but it may be out of my scope of capabilities. Probably just get a rds for my Sniper Green dagger.

The is super late. But you can do it. There are two things you will need which can both be had for $30.

(absolutely need this or any other gen5 back plate)

(this is optional for cosmetic reasons.)

Did anyone confirm all you need is the recoil spring spacer and rear plate adaptor? I wa s looking to do the range thing. In fact, PSA has a complete upper with RMR or they also have just the slide with RMR. I was leaning towards the whole slide set up with my g19 gen 5 if possible. Was also wondering if the barrel and recoil spring were interchangeable, but i guess they arenā€™t.

You would need a gen5 rear plate, or modified gen 1-4. Right side notch is larger on the backplate to account for the new ramp added on the trigger housing.

All gen 5 double stack barrels are compatible with G19 Gen 3 guns, and vice versa. My Glock 34 barrel fits my Daggers and 80% guns.

The recoil spring adapter is helpful but not absolutely needed. There will be a gap between the slide and frame at the front U shaped bit without it.
