I was just wondering if a complete gen 3 upper without a stainless steel barrel will be offered again? I have been seeing them on complete guns here lately.
Welcome @Tngober85 !! We are doing just stainless steel for the forseable future. In the long-run we will be bringing nitrided 308 barrels back.
Nitrided Stainless barrels, the best of both worlds. You lose the prettiness of the stainless but gain the hardness of the nitride. I’ll take a DC Machine stainless button barrel over any cut or hammered barrel any day.
I just want one as a range toy to fire crappy ammo out of. A stainless barrel has a shorter life span and will be wasted on me as im not trying to shoot sub MOA groups. I just want to ring steel.

I really would like a 20" nitrided .308 upper. For me and my intended use a nitrided barrel is much more desirable.
@khembree I cannot be more specific unfortunately. I have been told we will be making more, but it will be in the long-run. I do not have an eta that I can give you. If I did I would be lying.
