I for one like a little burnt powder smell on me while I celebrate independence. I know ammo is a little hard to come by for many of us, I’ll be shooting and “Older Pistol” I think.

Rock on!
Supposed to be 90° and storming (as it has for weeks around here) so I won’t be even though I try to make it a habit for this occasion.
I got out for Fathers Day, but I’m currently recovering from knee surgery. So unfortunately I won’t make it out.
Do a mag dump for me
EDIT Made it to the farm supply store and bought 100rds of 12ga.
Well the old Army .44 didn’t make it out this time, although I did load up 20 paper cartridges for it.
Instead I took out my .50 Cal Underhammer
And a real contender for my favorite PSA Firearm

It was 102 degrees/ 38.889°C
So it wasn’t what you would call “enjoyable” but I’m covered in Black Powder smoke, My shoulder
was thumped a bit, and I have Guns to clean. . . . . .“Enjoyable”? No Satisfying? You bet ya
I had a couple buddies over and we put quite a few rounds on steel, from .22lr up to 7.62x39 including just about all the mainline calibers in between. As the sun was waning, we were getting a good preview of the fireworks with every hit! That was followed by some good food and then some fireworks of the variety you SC folks sell (wow!). All in all it made for a very fun and memorable 4th!
Sounds like a great Day
