YouTube Crackdown on Guns

Hello all! It seems like every Pro 2A (ie. 704tactical, MrGunsnGear, AKOU) content creator on YouTube has been given a strike for violation of some YouTube rule. I am worried their channels and their content will be deleted. What website are y’all using to watch gun content? Are there any fees and subscriptions? Thanks again!

Yes, can definitely see that You tube is squeezing all the gun tubers with ridiculous additional requirements. Boo YouTube!
Trying to find my normal watches on Rumble platform.

MrGunsngear
has back up rumble account.

Guns N Gadgets
Had a vid about not migrating to a backup provider. Ultimately, he belived people would migrate to a new platform for about 30 days, then return to YouTube for all non-gun content they follow.

I would reccomend getting on an email list for any content creators you follow. If they do get yhe banhammer or suspension atleast you know what happened and may be directed toa back-up page.

Just my thoughts.

well it sucsk, but its not surprising since they are owned by google.

I have tried following the channels on Rumble but I’ve found that Rumble just doesn’t work. I can’t get more than 5 seconds of streaming before the video stops and buffers for at least a minute, sometimes as much as 5 minutes before I get another 5 second burst. This makes the content unwatchable. This makes Rumble a non-starter for me, and completely kills it off as a viable alternative platform.

Has anyone else had similar problems? My experience is that Rumble just doesn’t have the streaming bandwidth to be a viable option. The only other possibility is that the people who are in control of the internet pipes are using quality of service algorithms in the routing of network traffic to degrade Rumble in favor of youtube. Given the way that Twitter and Facebook have been exposed as FBI Crime Scenes, it wouldn’t surprise me if there is a conspiracy to circumvent an alternative video streaming platform to the one that the government is in bed with.

Either way, the videos on Rumble just don’t stream for me.

I have not experienced issues with Rumble, yet. Just started using it though.

I’ll start off by saying that I like MrGunsngear (“MrG”) and I watch his channel. But I’m going to come down on him because he did something incredibly stupid and now he’s being dishonest in pretending not to know what happened. He’s pretending on-camera that Youtube censured his account because he violated some arcane youtube rule that he can’t identify. He pretended not to understand it. He wasn’t very convincing in his pretending not to know what happened.

Come on. The guy is an FFL/SOT NFA manufacturer and he posted a Youtube video on how to convert an AR15 into a select-fire M16-equivalent non-transferable NFA machinegun. He claimed that it was OK for him to do that on youtube because he is an SOT manufacturer. Sure, a manufacturer is allowed by law to build an MG but that doesn’t mean that he’s allowed to post a how-to video on youtube. He had full knowledge that youtube has strict rules that prohibit videos that show how to manufacture guns like Polymer 80 kits, yet MrG was so stupid that he posted a video on how to fabricate an MG. Then he pretended not to know why his account was censured. He was visibly distraught on the post-ban video after his successful channel was censured (if not fully demonetized).

I like MrG’s channel, but I’m sorry, he did something stupid, and he’s being dishonest about it. Even worse, what he did was counterproductive to the 2A community. I’ll be the first to agree that there is nothing wrong with people having knowledge about how an M16 works and how it’s method of operation differs from that of an AR15. that information should be freely available. But it’s an entirely different discussion when the guy goes on a platform that prohibits gun assembly videos and posts a video of how to fabricate an MG. He was just asking to be swatted down for doing something that stupid. There are places for those kinds of videos, and Youtube isn’t one of them.

In the big scheme of things, we all know that youtube is a 2A-hostile place. I have a number of 2A channels that I like to watch that are not “politically correct”, and the youtube algorithm deliberately keeps them from showing up on my “recommended for you” page. I have to actively search for those channels to find them. Given that we all know that youtube is suppressing 2A content, the last thing that we need on youtube is for someone to be posting MG conversion videos for the public, for whom building an MG is a felony. Instructing people in how to commit felonies is just asking for trouble – it only encourages the youtube censors to overreact and come down indiscriminately on the entire 2A community, with indiscriminate prejudice toward people who have done nothing wrong.

MrG was just stupid, and now everyone is paying for his stupidity.

Good video selection

It’s a matter of time, sad to say. It was fun while it lasted.

i tried looking on there for MGG’s banned videos so i could see what the fuss was about but i didnt find anything so far, so im ust not know what im looking for lol

YouTube is censuring now for something as simple as “Blatant use of Prohibited High Capacity Magazines” or “Instructive Use of a Prohibited NFA Item” by screwing a Muffler on the end of a firearm.

Fercrappsakes they’re Striking Gun Jesus!

Big tech AKA big brother.
When you KNOW the s-bag they are trying to sell you is the BIGGEST POS Liar coward traitor thief and china bribed rat…

They are the enemy of our Republic 101%

Screwing an oil filter onto a pistol to manufacture a silencer? MrG did a video to show the entire world how to do that too. I had forgotten about that brilliant move on his part. So now youtube views him as a serial policy violator, yet he can’t figure out why they want to cite him for policy violations.

No. Gun Jesus got the Bite for a 2018 Forgotten Weapons vid where he absently attached an actual Dubya-Dubya-Eye-Eye super-rare example of some crappy K98 German moderator, someone dug out of the mud in some European field somewhere.

yeah the oil filter thing is still up there i think, or its on his other pages as ive perused a few of his pages looking to see what all the hubub is about. I like him as a content provider, and i think hes even from SC so another + there. lol… just some of this stuff shouldnt be put up on Youtube, and maybe only post that sorta stuff on his other pages that wont banhammer him for it if hes serious about sharing the knowledge.,
