Pandemic first time gun owners - fav YT channels

(Relatively) new gun owner here - now that we’re more than a year into the China virus. And “defunding the police” in democratic majority run states and cities. No military service background myself, though my father was a Marine Gunney rifle and pistol expert who taught me to shoot. So not starting completely from zero, but there’s ALOT of gear out there that I’m now learning about for the first time. What’s good vs. junk? What’s serviceable vs. Gucci? What do you need vs. want? What’s the cost difference and service life between basic and Gucci parts? Starting this post to share info among similar folks - what are your favorite YT channels to learn about firearms? Here are some of mine, in no particular order:
Mrgunsngear
Brownells
Sootch00
Warrior Poet Society
ClassicFirearms
Paul Harrell
Hickok45
Tactical Rifleman
Tactical Considerations
MilitaryArmsChannel
HonestOutlaw
James Yeager
Colion Noir
SmallArmsSolutions
MarineGunBuilder
Iraqveteran8888
TacticalToolbox
Tactical Hyve
Vigilance Elite

What am I missing? What do you like to watch? Who gives real solid info versus just doing paid promos? (INTEGRITY NOT FOR SALE)

Welcome to the forum @Philly2A !

I’m a YT junkie. Here are some of my favorites to add to your list:
Palmetto State Armory
The Gun Collective
Hank Strange
22 Plinkster
32icon
Armed and Feminine
Demolition Ranch
Edwin Sarkissian
Eric Pettway
TheWellArmedWomanTV
USCCA
We Like Shooting

You got my favorites in your list! Colion Noir, Hickock45, Warrior Poet Society are my favorites. If you are looking for video reviews on a specific gun, ammo, parts, etc. just use the google machine to search for
your specific item! Good luck!!!

I’m not pandemic new. But watch some of the technically competent youtubers. Watch some of Reid Heincrichs Pistolcraft for example (Reid Henrichs - YouTube) for good pistol instruction. Watch some of Active Self Protection etc for scenario evaluation. Good, accurate info, can help you be a responsible, effective 2A champ.

Johnny B and Pew Pew Tactical are good channels in addition to the ones you already mentioned.

Can’t really go wrong with any of the channels listed so far. Hickok 45 is definitely the godfather of all and teaches like a parent would. Been watching him since 09 and he’s never steered me in the wrong direction. Of late I’ve spent a lot of time on tactical toolbox’s channel and really enjoy his content. Military Arms Channel definitely rounds out my top picks.

1GruntZpov is pretty good, he’s new and a young guy, but he is a USMC combat instructor and doesn’t come off with an attitude, and he’s pretty funny.

Garand Thumb.

He has a little over 1 mil subscribers, solid gun/ gear reviews, and awesome intros. He puts thousands of rounds through a gun before he reviews it.
