ahhh!! yeah thats a bit of a ride for us last time we went up there it took most of the day for us, what with the lunch and the long tour of the store and range and playing with all things we could get our hands on while up there… so riding up there for a box or 4 of ammo isnt a good idea lol.

The Greenville store had enough on shelf to have a sale, loads of AE and SS197 when I was there on Monday. Unfortunately, both a buck a round and I had to pony up for the family range membership. There’s always next week!

Ya’ll really need to get on ammo seek. It’s been at 72 cents a round for weeks. I haven’t paid $1 per round since probably 2021 and that was for relatively good stuff (ss195lf), not plinking garbage. As long as you’re buying more than a box at a time, it’s pretty easy to get much better pricing.

I did ammo seek and with shipping it was cheaper to get at store
truth be known i havent bought any ammo since prior to 2020 with all these rising prices. luckily ive had more than enough to keep me comfortable so far. lets hope that condition continues so that i wont have to spend a lot of cabbage on ammo.

Hmmm, went for an apples to apples comparison as best I could. Might have ordered AAC 5.56, if you read the reviews waiting on shipping is an issue. I might have a couple hundred squirreled away since Wednesday or Thursday. Ammoseek order? Other than an email indicating order received, crickets.
Natchez had decent prices on 5.7 if you bought at least 3 boxes (so shipping wasnt so bad).

AAC is still Start Up in my eyes, TBH, I don’t consider myself a “Fanboy” of anything in particular. I like good prices for better than average quality and good execution on orders. They’ve always said “Good, Fast or Cheap; pick two.” PSA routinely delivers all 3.

Penetration capabilities aside, have you guys ever compared .22wmr ballistics with 5.7?
