If it had the Soviet Arms logo instead of the Adidas logo, that would be pretty sweet

I had a chance today to shoot some of the AAC Steel 7.62x39, time and ammo were limited though, I shot both the FMJ and Sabre Black Tip. It was shot through my stock Ruger American Ranch with only a 3-9x40 Leupold at 100 yards. I also put a box of FMJ through my Bear Creek Upper, not really for accuracy, but all fed, functioned, and ejected fine .It am very impressed with the accuracy at 100 yards.

6.5 Grendel is on the website now, although it’s not in stock. I’ll be checking every few minutes until available! Sabre 123g BT and 123g OTM showing 80 cents/rnd, and 123g FMJ at 75 cents.

Yep, 6.5g is up next. They have to do a lot of testing before releasing to the public.

Hello Sir,

I hate to be the person who asks for something and appears ungrateful. I’m very excited about AAC bringing out the 6.5 Grendel and I will definitely start stocking up. Could I ask if there is any information about AAC producing the 6.8 SPC? I have a LWRC Six8 12.7 and I’ve been debating parting with it due to ammo availability, considering switching to the 6 ARC or 6.5 Grendel. If there is any hope of the 6.8 SPC coming out, even if it’s a year or more from now, I’ll keep it as it’s my favorite rifle. I just don’t want to hold onto false hope if you happen to know it won’t happen. Thanks.

Thank you so much for the information sir. Glad to hear I’m not alone on 6.8

How come they took down the 45 colt?

Not sure. Occasionally things get removed due to website changes, doesnt mean its gone though.

Hope not, wanted to try it out. Went to check it last night and was like oh no what happened.

Top:
AAC 115 Gr JHP, not visible in image it looks like 6 lobes for controlled expansion.
Low Left:
AAC Saber Blade, black tip 110 Gr
Low Right:
AAC 110 Gr V-Max, orage tip.

Not sure on the difference between the 110 Gr projectiles.
Shipping label shows:
300 BLK 110GR V-MAX BLACK TIPPED W/C
&
300 BLK 110GR V-MAX

IIRC Hornady has a trademark or whatever on the term VMAX

For sure vmax is a hornady bullet, i have some 556 and 9mm from aac like this

The Saber Blade bullet is close to a hornady SST but is made specifically for AAC. They are the only company with that specific bullet.

This came directly from Jamin.

Had a lot of trouble with the AAC 77grain OTM yesterday in my 16" PSA AR. Kept getting every few rounds either a light primer strike or a stovepipe. I’m going to clean the rifle and try again, also with some of the Sierra HPBT 77 grain version of them. I fired a mag of 55 grain afterwards to see if it was the rifle and they cycled fine. If the Sierra ones don’t work either, I’m going to go with IMI 77 grain Razor Core next. If those don’t work I’m going to give up on the higher weight projectiles all together, as the gun just doesn’t seem to like them.

Very interesting
