AAC SABRE BLADE BLACK TIP - for Hunting or Target Practice?

I’ve been trying to figure out which AAC ammo products are for hunting.

as far as I can tell - just the Soft Points are for hunting.

Did I get it right ?

Not sure about the SABRE BLADE BLACK TIP.

With such a Macho threatening name - maybe it’s meant for hunting ?

My son got a buck this with a polymer tipped -06. It was lodged just under the skin on the opposite side and the polymer was still in it.

Both. Pretty sure its a Hornady SST bullet. Took a mule deer with the .300 blackout 110gr last year. Excellent performance, it was only 20 yards though.

It is a bullet made by Hornady for AAC

Anything rifle FMJ will over-penetrate and ricochet in hunting or self defense. You don’t want to hit your family two rooms away because your shot went through four sheets of dry wall.
Anything “Match” in the title is a long projectile with a very thin jacket for target shooting and should not be used for hunting. Its inhumane to wound and make an animal suffer.
Anything V-max is light weight for caliber ammo for small varmint.
Sabre-Blade are Hornady bonded jacket soft point hunting bullets.
