I just received my AK-P with the MOE furniture and SBA3 brace and would like to add a folder adapter to the existing parts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
You should be able to remove the m4 adaptor with the sba3 and then add what you like (such as the triangle folder).

I cant make any guarantees, but this is a folding adapter made by SB tactical. it will not work with the AR platform because of the buffer and spring, but the AK-P recoil system is different

That wont work just got it in the mail and it can’t thread in due to the ak buffer adapter has something protruding for the screw that holds it the buffer adapter to the pistol. Now the sylvah arms folding buffer adapter works but its extremely hard to thread in and it adds about an extra 1.75" ish to the length of pull. And is expensive at $180 haha

My rule is if you buy something that dont fit. You’re now obligated to buy the gun that part actually fits

This is good info for me because just last night I was wondering if I can buy the AKp with Sb3 brace and either make that brace a folder or swap it back and forth with a triangle folder. I guess I cant.

my vote is for the sba3 and no folding at all… i like it more than anything else i have seen! i mean a regular milspec ar buttstock in plum if i have to sbr it wouldn’t be bad.
-but i also don’t want to touch anything on my new purple ak ever! just clean it, shoot it, love it! make sure the warranty stays intact…

tbh i even clean my glocks on an occasion, the trick really is to clean it immediately, before you ever fire your firearm, really really well and then properly lube it… if it’s complicated go the clp route and just wipe everything endlessly with clp it works great or you can use some of the bore cleaners and lubes that’s what i chose to do now so i can keep them running longer between cleans. yes, hoppes…
