AK-104 muzzle adapter

I need an adapter to convert my AK-104’s threads to 1/2x28 for my suppressor. However im having trouble with the 24mm threads on my gun. I have a CNC Warrior thread adapter that works fine on my Bulgy 74 build but for some reason does not fit on this 104. Strangely enough the muzzle device on my Bulgy gun fits the 104 just fine so im not sure why the CNC adapter doesnt fit.

suggestions?

thank you

Are you able to get the correct thread endcap?

there is no 24mm thread end cap for the Omega 36M. I dont really want to change the end cap on the suppressor anyway. all the guns that suppressor is going on have 1/2x28 except this one.

Gotcha. Check with Hansohn Brothers and see if they make something that will work for you.

Try the Griffin Armament 24x1.5 to 1/2x28 adapter. It is not just a thread adapter like the CNC Warrior……It is specifically made to index SQUARELY against the barrel when tightened on the front sight block. This will give you a SQUARE thread to put your muzzle device or suppressor host device.

Good luck

BTW……I removed the cleaning rod from the AK-104. When tightening the Griffin armament adapter……it makes contact with the cleaning rod and you DON’T want anything imparting any pressure on a muzzle device that requires concentric alignment.
