Any Suppressor advice for AK-P, 7.62mm with M24x1.5RH threads?
Is the M24x1.5 a bushing that can be removed?
That should be the thread pitch. Go search around Silencer Shop to see what companies make adaptors for that thread pitch. Lots of good suppressors out there right now.
I’d like to hop into this train on a related note. I believe that’s the same combo block as they use on the 104. I’ve heard the threads on that can be a bit off from bore axis and any suppressor mount should index off the barrel face. Anyone have experience relevant or 2 cents to chime in otherwise?
Yes that is known with AKs not being concentric. Check out the DeadAir Wolverine suppressor.
I’m not sure if PSA states that their AK threads are bore concentric. But getting a, forgot the name, “bore concentric rod” should help you to know.
Change the brake with a combo brake/suppressor mount. I just installed a JMAC brake mount combo to run a YHM R2.
