AK-P dust cover fitment on PSA AK104 w/railed dust cover?

Hello! (also posted on the AK-P section)

I have a PSA AK104 with the railed dust cover and peep sight. Does the AK-P dust cover with the notch sight up front fit onto one of these rifles (pistol)?

If memory serves me correctly, the AKP and AKV have a different length receiver than a standard AK, so i dont believe it will.

i believe GG is right, but while browsing the AK stuff i think PSA offers one for each model, so you may be able to find a dust cover to fit the 104 that isnt railed there. your best bet will be to contact someone in c.s. and see if they have one that they know of but first i’d check their pages and also check both in stock and out of stock… they may have it and you may have to measure to find out which will work for you.

I took my akp and my standard size GF3 which i added the railed dust cover to, and put them side by side. They look very close in size if not identical. So I’ve ordered another akp railed dust cover and will try it on my standard size.

Will report my findings soon.

It doesnt work unless you take a grinder or dremmel to the rear sight block or the hinged part itself.
