It just released a few days ago. I know some here have ordered it but havent seen a review yet.
I am interested as well. This should be a promising load for hunting. If nothing else it will certainly kill a paper target.
Would it be better to have a 1:8 twist vs. 1:7 with the heavier 75 gr bullet?
Strange, Palmetto ammo is no longer showing up on Ammoseek.com today.
Someone didn’t pay their affiliate fee…

(pure guess)
Could be. I noticed last week that the new shipping rating formula on ammoseek dropped Palmettto’s shipping rating from a high 8 to a poor 5. (For me that new formula is rubbish, and it needs to be re-done.)
Last time i ordered ammo (2 Fridays ago) a label was created next day and i had it on Tuesday.
I ordered the 5.56 Vmax Saturday and Tuesday, both got were on the porch when I got home today.
I’d sure like an honest assessment on this Ammo too.
I’m picking up the pieces of someone elses dream of building a Mk12 SPR Mod H…and 77Grain is its dietary choice for accuracy.
This new release is very interesting – It used to be that the only way to get the 9377G SMK loaded to 2750 fps was to pay through the nose for Black Hills or to roll your own very hot loads. There are more suppliers today for the heavy Match Kings (some loaded hot) but the prices have never been particularly cheap.
PSA seems to be changing the game now with the AAC ammunition that uses the correct 9377G bullet, at 2700 fps, at a tremendous bargain price.
IMO the most important question that needs to be answered is whether the box spec of 2700 fps is referenced to an 18", 20" or 24" barrel. If the velocity rating is out of a 24" standard test barrel or a 20" AR barrel then I’m not really interested. OTOH if this ammo produces 2700 fps out of an 18" barrel, that’s close enough to 2750 fps to catch my interest for testing with a TS-30.
I’m hoping that this ammunition has the potential to end my time at the reloading bench, as it’s price of 60 cpr is about what it costs in materials.

I’m not sure that the AmmoSeek algorithm is all that bad. Some of the PSA shipping charges are really great, but some of the others are really bad. I mean REALLY bad.
I almost got lured into purchasing the Sierra .45ACP ammo with a $5 rebate per box of 25 that gave the illusion of lowering the price to $0.30… but the shipping price was so ridiculous that the rebate has no real value.
So right, Mk262Mod1, and that’s true with every ammo dealer’s pricing.
Sometimes the shipping charges just don’t seem to make any sense to the buyers.
There are a few deals to attract customers to the web store, but it’s not cheap to run a firearms business.
The real culprits are the ones running the legal crime mob in DC.
I don’t expect that to change peacefully.
AAC 5.56 77 grain matchking HPBT now Out Of Stock.
The longer, heavier bullets need more spin to stabilize, so “people” say it’s probably better to shoot the 75 gr out of 1:7 twist. I’ve heard that 1:8 does well with 69 gr bullets. Not really sure where the line is drawn for that, but there are some equations in Brian Litz’s book, Applied Ballistics for Long-Range Shooting.
The Projectile, the Sierra 77, works good, i.e. good for target shooting at 300 yards.
I don’t know about AAC’s version of it.
After I posted that I thought I had it bass ackwards.
