Are all PSA 14.5 uppers pinned?

Does PSA not sell a 14.5 upper which is not pinned and welded? I want to pin my own device.

Unfortunately we do not sell non-pinned and welded 14.5" uppers.

PSA’s business model is to sell enough AR15s to where they fall under common use. This includes people who may not know the laws backwards and forwards regarding AR pistols and rifles. While it would be nice to be able to pin your own new gun/AR owners may buy it and unknowingly build an SBR. Pinning all of them from the start removes any hassle for the customer and PSA.

I remember looking at the customer submitted pictures of pistol uppers I was interested in buying. The amount of people saying they love their “pistol” that had an MOE stock was astounding
