-I own a musket for home defense, since that’s what the founding fathers intended.
-Four ruffians break into my house.
-“What the devil?” As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky Rifle.
-Blow a golf ball size hole through the first man. He’s dead on the spot.
-Draw my pistol on the second man. Misses him entirely because it’s smoothbore and kills the neighbors dog.
-I have to resort to the cannon at the top of the stairs loaded with grapeshot.
-“Tally ho, Lads!” The grapeshot shreds two men in the blast. The sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms.
-Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion.
-He bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are difficult to stitch up.
-Just as the Founding Fathers intended. By God.
If this isn’t a copypasta, it sure should be… lol
I need a cannon.

Blunderbuss is the superior home defense weapon!
As the founding fathers intended:
“Congress shall make no law abridging freedom of speech.” But that doesn’t apply to the telephone, email, texting, Facebook, Twitter, yard signs, billboards, etc.
“Congress shall make no law abridging freedom of the press.” But that only protects printed newspapers, and only those printed on one of those old hand-operated vertical ink and lead presses. Television, cable, radio and the Internet are all fair game for government control.
Government has given us NO rights. The only powers that government is supposed to have are those WE have given to it. All of our rights were given to us by God, including the right to keep and bear arms, and we have the right to keep and bear for a reason.
Sorry. I know you were just having some fun with a silly argument of the anti-freedom bunch, but that “muskets” thing really sets me off! If the Second Amendment only protects muskets, then the First Amendment doesn’t protect CNN or MSNBC!
Oh I see you’ve found some outrage in what was posted as a joke. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!..AAAHHEEEMMM…HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Do keep up the outrage and have a nice day.
The 2nd 4 the win!
Always…
“To ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference” … states without highest gun control gotta whole lot of murders… Washington might’ve been on to something… PSA changing the status quo.
Any firearm with a loudener is okay in my book.
“But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever.”
John Adams
Too bad it was the neighbors dog and not a cat, Oh the Horror!
Anyone who says our founding fathers didn’t understand the full ramifications of our Constitution has never taken the time to read their quotes. It still amazes me the forethought and insight that those brilliant men had. If you have never taken the time to read some of their quotes then I challenge you to do so. Their quotes are just as relevant today if not more so than when the words were initially spoken.
"You will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve YOUR freedom. I hope you will make a good use of it.”
John Adams
If only more people understood how much our freedoms has cost every generation since his also.
Musket Lives Matter!
Is a double barrel, flintlock shotgun considered high capacity? Asking for a friend…
