What are your thoughts on Joe “no one needs 30 rounds” Biden?
He’s just making his friends rich again. They’ve all lost a lot of money over the last 4 years while their stocks in gun companies bottomed out. Now that he’s sufficiently whipped up a lasting gun and ammo panic, they are all making 400% gains again. Plus, now that all gun companies are profitable again, some of them can get back to sending donations to the antigunners, again lining his buddy’s pockets.
But I’m a hopeless cynic, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Around the rim of a margarita glass.
So what do you think the end goal is? Since he wants to ban AR-pistols, “high-capacity” magazines, and more. Won’t that hurt gun companies in the end?
Oh the end goal of actual antigunners is complete disarmament. No doubt in my mind. But for the crony-capitalists in office, their end goal is to get as rich as possible before leaving since nobody is looking hard into how they obtained it. Remember William Jefferson’s $90k of freezer money - and his sentence got reduced to time served? Yeeah, they are trying to get paid. If the citizens lose some rights in the process, too bad. And since laws apply to us, not them, they don’t really care what gets passed. We’re just collateral damage on their way to the bank. Gotta stack cash so their kids can go on 48 hour hooker-and-crack benders. coughbidencough
And ultimately, no, gun companies won’t hurt due to new laws and regulations. Innovation always leads enterprising entrepreneurs to find a way to get the people what they want while following the law to the T. Look at bump stocks and pistol braces. Those things exist because of infringing regulation.
IMO-Not Just “Drooling Joe Biden the Child Sniffer” is destroying the country. Weak willed spineless as a jelly fish republicans and marxist-socialist-democrats as well. What kills me about the cowards known as republicans is they are emboldened when they are out of power. When republicans are in power they don’t do squat. Example, where is the national reciprocity? I think the States do well to initiate their own SAPA (Second Amendment Preservation Act).
I believe we have just one political party. The Democrats are in charge and they are filled with rage. The Republicans are a part of this lunacy as well. I vote BUT I vote against a political party and not for a political party. I really don’t see any values that I try to live by from either side. As Americans we are getting politically raped by sociopath politicians that only want what every administration wants-a second term.

Yeah right now the republicans are out of power and they are acting brave. They are out of power. We’ll see how far their conviction goes other than just winning a re election. I do not trust slimy, double speaking, and deceitful politicians. As I get older I am slowly becoming a single issue voter for the Second Amendment.
That is important, but I also have a couple other issues. Abortion, free speech, and the 2nd amendment are probably my top three.
Republicans begged for a majority in 2016, and we gave it to them. They did nothing. McCain and his cronies refused to push anything over the line, whether it was a dislike of Trump or just trying to preserve the swamp they failed us at every turn. And then they lost power. So now a few, even our own L. Graham, seem to have seen the light. The rest are only trying to preserve their own status.
Democrats on the other hand don’t care. They are ruthless in their pursuit of dismanteling the Constitution and creating a socialist state. Every day since January they have shown that they are willing to push further to the left, destroy our Constitution and bankrupt the government in the process. They use our taxes to buy votes from the dependent members of society in their quest to maintain power. If the mid terms don’t turn things around we have some very dark days ahead.
It obviously will! I believe that Biden and all of his gun control cohorts don’t only want to hurt them, they want them out of business. They could care less about if a business or industry fails or succeeds. As long as they make their money and get re-elected. Thousands of people lose their jobs; no worries. Sleepy Joe will give them never ending unemployment. It’s all about taking guns away from us. The only gun and ammo manufacturers that should still exist in their minds are ones that will produce their goods only for the government, military, police, etc.

Everyone in Congress and the upper leadership of the federal agencies, up to and including the President and his cabinet should be wearing NASCAR racing suits with their SPONSORS names on them … Also consider that a significant percentage of those in congress are millionaires, while less than 10% of the rest of the population have attained that level of financial security.
The end game is totalitarianism, plain and simple. Anything to stay in charge and have power over others. It makes no sense to liberty lovers, but that is what they want. What they fail to take into account is that every dictator is quickly supplanted by someone behind him who is more sneaky or ruthless. They only have their total domination until the next power grabber gets a chance. All this turbulence ultimately benefits no one.

Our adversaries are getting smarter. I personally think they will go after ammo. The Constitution guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. It doesn’t promise that ammo won’t be taxed and regulated beyond access.
I agree this is the most likely means of control that will looked at. I don’t usually get on forums especially political ones, however I am going to drop a little knowledge here. Dear Mr. 2nd amendment you are the definition of an educated fool. you are so blinded by your desires to own guns that no other aspects of survival seem to matter to you. I’m a gun collector and probably have more guns than any 2 of you together. I have multiple guns including AR’s, hunting rifles and pistols. if every gun owner was as responsible as me I would have no problems accepting other gun owners owning anything they wanted. the problem is all gun owners are not responsible. there are people in our country who shouldn’t be allowed any where near a gun. many of the people in this country don’t have the attitude and maturity to be a responsible gun owners. yet we don’t have a means of identifying these people and screening these people out of the gun purchasing process. you see the problem is any half cocked deranged moron can walk in to any gun store in America and buy a gun provided he has no criminal record. that’s a real problem. until we figure out a way to keep guns out of the hands of these people restrictions on what people should own need to be in place. I have often heard the quote that the constitutional 2nd amendment right to bear arms is justification to remove all restrictions on gun ownership. however our fore fathers could not have ever imagined what the gun has been transformed into. you see at the time they wrote those laws the gun was a musket. advancements since that time has transformed the gun into a lethal killing machine. guns have changed so the laws governing them need to be updated as well. your argument that the people should maintain a well armed military presence is garbage. if you believe that should the military of the US decide to overrun this country you actually have a chance because of your little AR-15 then you are more stupid than I thought. the armed services have a gun that shoots a million bullets at one time. what kind of defense do you think your AR-15 will be against that? you don’t fight fire with fire, you fight fire with water, you talk as if you are educating the ignorant, but you are really pouring gas on the fire of the mentally unstable. live by the gun. die by the gun. there is to much hatred and division in this country too allow anybody to own anything. when the fore fathers wrote our laws the people were the army. we now have the best armed military in the world. any other country in the world that believes we can be invaded is delusional. any American that believes we could fight off the US military is also delusional. NO but overthrowing it isn’t the answer. getting rid of special interest groups and holding the people we elect accountable is a good start. Ok… so you’re ok with taking away law abiding citizens ability to defend themselves… ok. In that case… are you ok with permanently sealing our borders since there have been instances of illegal immigrants killing American citizens? I mean since you don’t mind punishing the majority because of the bad acts of a few.
No I am not ok with taking away a person right to bear arms. I’m saying you don’t need a bazoka to protect yourself. as for your border problem …ask yourself this (what is happening so bad where these people are coming from that is driving them to risk their lives trying to reach our border) we spend billions of dollars of tax money on subsidizing Mexico every year yet a human man made nightmare exist at out border. Why? Mexico is corrupted by drug lords. spend some of those billions getting rid of the drug lords and help these people make a better life and it will solve 2 problems. it will stop the flow of outsiders from other country’s and slow the drug business in this country
